Actually this isn't a bad thing. With all the positive things that are going to be written about this team heading into the season, it's nice that theres still some bulletin board material out there. The players said all of last year that being picked 12th preseason was a motivation going into every game. TBH I've been worried about how they were going to handle expectations this coming year.
A lot of good coaches in the Big Ten. I'm a big homer and love Izzo and what he has done for 20 years at MSU, but I see a lot of the same characteristics being established at Rutgers in culture and style. You guys got the right coach. Rank Pikiell where ever you want in the list but I wouldn't trade him for any of the other coaches in the Big Ten, except Izzo
