No OL/DL drills on Thursdays. Light practice day. Nice fish for likes though haha unfortunately no one bit
Not fishing. Maybe it's yesterday's and I watched it this am. Turay killed one OL and made another look silly. I was actually pointing out how well he did
Has Turay been participating in tackling drills? With the shoulder injury, I think tackling could be one issue holding him back.
You could teach a chimp our DE scheme in 2 days.
Furthermore, if we borrowed one of Alabama's DE's to play against Michigan...he could practice with the defense today, have a walk thru tomorrow and play Saturday for us.
Turay not playing is physical or attidunal, it has nothing to do with not knowing the defense
Then why did we have to burn a timeout for him against Iowa? Or was it OSU?
Either way, Ash was ripping into him pretty damn hard when he went to the sideline
I don't know, he has played just a few plays and has not scrimmaged.
If as a coach, you can't get your most talented pass rusher to lineup on 3rd down correctly and rush the QB, something is terribly wrong.
Why would that be on the coaches? I mean if we're not having that issue with other players on 3rd down, what makes you think it's on the coaches?
Sounds like it's on the player...
I don't believe he is either, but the team as a whole has had pretty few mental mistakes compared to the past few years. I find it hard to say it's on the coaches when the rest of the team has done nothing but improve in that aspect of the game.
As I said earlier, I believe his issues are legitimate reasons to keep him off the field...whatever they are
It's only my opinion the issues are not his lack of understanding of what to do and where to go.
Because of miscommunication. He thought he was supposed to go in on that play, but it wasn't, so they would have taken a 12 men on the field penalty.
