Sad but True, Rutgers was demolished in all three phases.

Every other debut was against FCS or first year Buffalo

While technically correct ... might have been worth mentioning that a coach's "debut" is most often the first game of the season

So, pointed question for Luicci - is the bitterness entirely attributable to ...
(1.) Luicci being adamantly opposed to the selection of Ash as the head coach & thus feels justified in taking shots at a team that is a work in process - and if so who was Luicci swooning over who did not get the job?
or
(2.) Luicci is totally consumed with venom because his position was eliminated and he was shown to the door ... and now every thought and feeling he has for Rutgers will be as negative as possible and he will demonize every person in a significant position that he thinks may have even remotely had something to do with his exit.

Yes he is, but the problem wasn't his sentiments but #thepunt in which he was taking a shot at RU. Had he not did that hashtag there would have been no problem at all.
The thing is though, he ended up admitting the loss is more on Flood than Ash. So contradictory messages here
Rutgers only won 6 of its first 16 games under Wenzel before RU made its miraculous NCAA run in 1988-89.
And didnt that run include two very talented players (40% of the starting lineup) that transferred into Rutgers after Wenzel got here?
