I think you are looking at it through Rutgers glasses. It's why Suriano was wrestling in a meaningless dual against Northwestern this weekend when he could have been wrestling in one of the best duals ever on Saturday night. It's a failure to understand basic stuff. Rutgers logic.

You again show you don't have any idea how the real world operates outside PSU. Suriano did what's best for him and his family and you can continue to hold your breath for him to say he regrets his decision (hint: won't happen). The wrestling greats wouldn't want to sit on the sidelines and cheer. March matters most and we can revisit this conversation after one of your wrestles gets to sit and watch as he tells himself it should have been him out there going for a title. Basic stuff I guess.

Honestly, because I've been spending so much time dealing with other various racist and otherwise inappropriate posting stuff on other areas of the site, if you catch my (CE) drift. I'll look into his stuff today, I promise.

This board isn't as heavily policed (bad word to use) as the football, basketball, round table and CE boards. Best thing to do is use the report button on the post, thread or member.

Thanks, Bill. I'm pretty sure Goodale could have made a run at Cassar if he had recognized the potential, although maybe he did try to get him. But Cassar did choose to walk on at Penn State. He's another good argument against the concept that Cael can't develop wrestlers.

I always thought Cassar had a great upside. Non- qualifier as a HS junior at Montgomery (not known as a wrestling power in NJ) to undefeated champ as a senior. His potential was confirmed when he made the world junior team (beating Moore along the way, iirc) but then the shoulder injuries bit him. Great to see him persevere like he has. For the 6699 at Rec Hall Saturday, he will always hold a place in the pantheon of great performances in dual meets. Legendary.

It's simple go up to colleges in the upper right hand corner and hover over it. In the drop down menu hover over Big Ten, the list of schools will come up. Move cursor over to psu, click on it. Your now on the psu site. Go to forums, find wrestling room click on that. Wah la there it is.
