Minny has won 5 in a row and throttled RU by 14 the first meeting
at Michigan, at Ohio State, at Indiana...these all are likely losses
1-4 the rest of the way to finish 10-8 which will see them out of the double bye and probably 6th or 7th and 18-11, they have better wins than last year so that will help with the NCAA chances even if they tank but this team is basically done even if they are given a gift from the commitee

A has been team like last year. They will lose the rest of the games. I think early on the other coaches were running the team. But she butted in and now we will lose every game like we have done in the past. I wish she would do the best thing and resign, it is the first time I have said that but I am her age and she's done just like I was.
It’s more than Jenkins. When CC starts she revs-up the energy. When she doesn’t see the floor until the 2nd Quarter, or later, the team is just sluggish. It’s coaching.
if CC's not getting minuites because of a discipline problem, might just as well suspend her.
If minutes diminished because of injury, just have her sit out games and practices for a short time trying to get it healed.
But in any case, how CC's being used is not helping the team.

this is interesting coming from you...I think age has caught up to CVS...nothing wrong its just sometimes the game and the players change and what worked 20 years ago isnt going to work today. To score 39 points at home to a team that is only 500 signals that CVS has lost all touch with what college hoops is about
I need to see what happens in the next couple of games before I give up on CVS.
But Vivian's type of game might not be good for the way the WBB game is being played now.
The adjustments to her coaching style needed to compete successfully in the College WBB world today might not have been made by Stringer and that showed at the end of last season and beginning to show again this year.

Crushed by a sub par team. This team has no passion, fire or leadership. CVS outcoached by OSU and not even close. Sorry but they won’t even beat Wisky.
It is interesting that this appears from afar to be the 3rd year in a row that - at some point late - the team lost, as you say, passion / fire. I don't know about leadership, that I thought they had last year with Scaife, though the year before not so much.
No I don't understand it. While I think you can justly blame the coach - and I think this folding could cost her her job - some of the nasty comments are out of line. No, Assistants were not coaching the team against the way she wanted them coached. And no, she isn't milking the school. She believes her system can be a winning system - and at least at times it can be.
I have felt for several years that she just doesn't have a good handle on the team (in a "locker room" sense). It was, as I pointed out 2 years ago, inherent in her age difference. But the details are beyond me.
