Just went through the turnovers in the Illinois game on DVR - most weren't ballhandling issues.
1. Omoruyi to Geo entry pass on backdoor cut, too far ahead of him and went out of bounds
2. Omoruyi travel before he made move to basket
3. Baker penetrated and tried to pass to Harper in corner, but defender deflected pass and stole it
4. Mathis charge
5. Omoruyi collision/contact with defender and lost ball before going to the ground and getting bloody nose. No call
6. Mathis missed rim as shot clock expired
7. Johnson entry pass to Carter too high and sailed out of bounds
8. McConnell missed rim as shot clock expired, contact as he went out of bounds. No call
9. Mathis tried to feed Omoruyi in transition, intercepted by defender
10. Kiss tried to feed Carter in post, but bad angle on pass went out of bounds
11. Omoruyi lost dribble out of bounds under basket, possibly pushed? No call
12. Baker hard dribble went way up over his head (this one was really weird, as I don't know how this happened)
13. Mathis stripped trying to penetrate
14. Baker took too many steps on penetration after stopping dribble, travel called
15. Omoruyi moving screen
16. Harper inbounds play 5 second call
Handful more that weren't turnovers, but were lost opportunities/possessions
1. Geo stole the ball, but couldn't get full control as he chased it down court, ended up saving it back inbounds to NW
2. Kiss drove into two trees with nowhere to go, and was blocked
3. Doorson would have had offensive board, but was out of bounds
4. Baker would have had offensive board, but didn't establish himself back inbounds before touching ball
I counted 16, but the box score only says 15. Looks like the shot clock violations weren't attributed to Mathis/McConnell, and the 5 second out of bounds wasn't attributed to Harper... so I might be missing a couple in there. Also, I only count 3 on here as Baker turnovers, but the box score lists him with 4.
