Wow, if it's true... NC State is loaded for next season... Their top 9 scorers all return, since all 3 of their seniors (including grad transfer Raina Perez), have decided to return and use their extra year of eligibility in '21-'22.... Their 2021 recruiting class is currently ranked #12 nationally also.

Rumors of T Mack might be there, but some might say T Mack's pushing the team on the floor helped RU more than hurt .
But that I really can't say if true or just my unsubstantiated opinion.

You seem to be stuck on this T.Mack issue of is she the reason or not ? You mentioned her but there are some people who actually played at Rutgers in different sports who believe there is more to her leaving than simply playing time, a lack of faith in the coach, the teams ability to go further into the post season or just she wants to play with better . Don’t worry it will eventually come out. Some players don’t need people other than the head coach getting in their face.
If whatever ‘it’ is points to a more systemic issue, I certainly hope it’s been acknowledged and addressed in the program and/or athletic department.
I’m curious if someone other than the coach performs an ‘exit interview’ to understand the reasons for a player transferring.
Not stuck on a player issue, mentioned a player because she was mentioned earlier in this thread by someone else.
As far as your scenario , it seems like you're throwing out different reasons and trying to generalize where you got the information.

Again I admit I mentioned T Mack, I have no problem confirming I said something easily verified.
I also explained why I mentioned T Mack was because someone mentioned her in this thread in an earlier post.

I do have a problem with asking for a straight answer and be insulted because I insisted on getting a straight answer .
As for you saying exactly your feelings about her leaving, I took it you implied you had information on why and only asked you to share or say you didn't really know but had your own thoughts about why she is leaving.
So I considered your " feelings about her leaving" as just that, feelings without any real knowledge on why she was leaving.
If that upsets you, guess I'll have to live with your being upset.
No reason to continue this conversation , but be assured that any time I ask you or anyone a question I don't mean to insult, I just what what was said clarified if I'm not sure the person is stating what they know or just posting their opinion .
I didn’t take it as an insult until you persisted. I ‘m stubborn that’s just part of being an “ old man” . Nothing meant other than it doesn’t bother me about DJ leaving. It has happened before. What I do know sometime bench players should keep their mouths closed especially high volatile types like TM. That’s on CVS who likes to have players direct newbies in the nuances of being Rutgers WBB player.Some just say I can go elsewhere and especially with this portal nonsense.
If T Mack was the reason she left, Mack most likely will not return next year so why would DJ then leave?
