No!, we want the recruits to come to RUDid we invite recruits to attend Obama's speech?
Congrats to Sam, his family, and RU.
I know nothing about the kid other than what I just read, but with those measurables and his performance with just two years of HS football under his belt... He could be a monster sleeper.
In the past we would get a lot of early commits like this and then lose them when they got to see other places. It was almost as if we were a safe school and kids treated RU as a ship in their pocket in case nothing else came along. We will get a real good idea of this new staff's ability to recruit by whether or not these commits actually stay with us and other elite kids sign on as well. My heart and gut say they will stay and this may be one of the best, if not the best class ever, but my head says wait and see.
I kind of hope that meme isn't representative. 'Cause the swede from that movie got his ass kicked by a 50 year old about 60 seconds from that moment captured in the meme. I'm just saying.

I think PSU was about to offer since the coaches went to see him but he probably made up his mind already after visiting Rutgers with his parents. His parents only visited Rutgers and Penn State so I think this is a solid commit. He's not even really that much of a sleeper either. He was the either the best or one of the best OL at both the Rivals and Nike NJ camp the other week.
Not sure why he doesnt have the usual Cuse, BC, Pitt, PSU offers and I'm sure he gets a few of them in the next few months, but I'm glad we got in early.
Losing the commits was really a Flood thing so you're talking about the last 4 years. Flood, I guess, didn't want to do the hard work of recruiting or he didn't think it was important. In the past we would get a lot of early commits like this and then lose them when they got to see other places.
