Washington game EDITED. not yet “sold out”

Announcers made mention of sellout. Complimented the crowd but then said upper deck sections are empty…he blamed it on folks staying home b/c of the rain…

This needs to get fixed ASAP

We are losing generations of future fans, season-ticket holders, and donors as these kids are not coming to games, and not living the true college experience as a result
It’s always been a thing, same issues when I was at RU from 09-13. I was the only one on my entire floor watching the classic 09 comeback game at UCONN, the average student doesn’t care about sports or football.

the rain was basically nothing, no one stayed home because of that...we just do not have a large fanbase, thousands left while team was driving with ball at 14-10 early in the 4th....we just do not have enough

Agree. As I’ve been saying the last few weeks..a win tonight will rev up the bandwagon. Hopefully we get a “true sellout” in a couple weeks

Student section looked about 20% above capacity. It was overflowing and there were massive amounts of students on the concourse.

I’m sure a ton of younger people who had tickets elsewhere were squeezing in there.

Need to make it an event, a must-see thing, a can't miss situation
Not a chore
The must see events had draw back then because we’d actually win some of them. Now we get drubbed 55-3, although last year saw improvement.

Ole Miss has sucked for years, until recently, if their games were always a must see event

Though it’s not apples, the apples, we need to make the games. I can’t miss situation, regardless of the teams, record, and performance on the field.

Obviously, the more we win and are competitive the better it will be, but we cannot control that (actually, with IL, but that’s a whole Nother point

The only thing with directly control is the incentive for fans to show up, a respective of the teams, record and performance

TV announcer said 54k+ (second highest ever). But there were certainly plenty of open rows and sections. Whatever, Sounds like it was an awesome experience and looked fantastic on the tube.

I thought students did a great job Most stayed till the end too. Concourse was packed the whole game too. For many students, especially females, they just want to be at the event, they don’t really care about the game itself.
