I noticed it too. The thing that bothers me is that people who had halfway decent speed last year is just plain slow this year. Is it the S & C program bulking and slowing us down? Is it that the players are thinking too much instead of just playing football, maybe from the new schemes? Its head scratching.

We have a coach who checks hydration levels to help against concussions but it never occurred to him to be on the same page as his S&C coach regarding speed and strength?

The first half was a nightmare to watch with sloppy tackling and a offense that had no cohesion The second half Rutgers defense finally stepped up stopping Howard on every possession and the offense had some big plays including runs by the backup quarterbacks.A 52-14 win looks very good in the box score but fans watching the first half were shaking their heads in disbelief.Grant is a playmaker and is a joy to watch.

You should get a job as a cub reporter...you waste more time typing on the site instead of watching the game... #1 we all agree it wasn't pretty in the first half...#2 the game is 60 minutes long...how many 1st downs did Howard get after the 1st quarter ? ... problem on D was scheme on the qb keep...we miss guys like Turay and Longa in getting to the qb... hope Turay makes it back healthy this year...
