Totally disagree. Now don't get me wrong, I like Corey, but IMO he hasn't grown very much since he came to the banks as a freshman. He still tries to drive to the basket when the tall trees easily swat his shots away. He still hasn't learned how to dribble drive and stop on a dime and take a shot. He needs to do more of that. He used to throw up floaters which I liked, but this year so far he's trying to lay it up and is getting stuffed. He also has had many TO's at inopportune times and he still hasn't improved enough on his outside jump shot. If Corey stays, great, but I do not think we're screwed at all if he leaves.it was on full display tonight that we dont have anybody other than Corey who can really handle the ball against p5 defenders. Geo is okay but even he hangs it out a little too much. Corey is the x-factor to us being a bubble team or a sub .500 team next year imo
Even if Corey leaves after this year, I think we're in good hands with Geo and the new kids coming in. While Corey is frenetic, Geo is smooth. I like smooth.
