We NEED corey next year or we're screwed

it was on full display tonight that we dont have anybody other than Corey who can really handle the ball against p5 defenders. Geo is okay but even he hangs it out a little too much. Corey is the x-factor to us being a bubble team or a sub .500 team next year imo
Totally disagree. Now don't get me wrong, I like Corey, but IMO he hasn't grown very much since he came to the banks as a freshman. He still tries to drive to the basket when the tall trees easily swat his shots away. He still hasn't learned how to dribble drive and stop on a dime and take a shot. He needs to do more of that. He used to throw up floaters which I liked, but this year so far he's trying to lay it up and is getting stuffed. He also has had many TO's at inopportune times and he still hasn't improved enough on his outside jump shot. If Corey stays, great, but I do not think we're screwed at all if he leaves.

Even if Corey leaves after this year, I think we're in good hands with Geo and the new kids coming in. While Corey is frenetic, Geo is smooth. I like smooth.

I'd put in Eugene over Freeman against legit b1g teams. How many times does Freeman get blocked?

Who would take the minutes of Sanders and williams? We are short at the guard position this year. The guards have to play too many minutes. Mathis and Kiss to replace those 2 means we are short next year as well. Can we find another guard for next year?
What about Thiam? Outside of one game earlier this season where he got hot from behind the arc I have yet to see him do anything. Certainly havent seen this pure shooter he was touted as.

Baker needs to improve his ball handling a lot to be a point guard.

Having said that our best lineup right now on offense could be and maybe overall

Baker Williams Issa Freeman doucore

I honestly think we'll be better next year without Sanders.

I don't think we will be better without him since there are things that he does well. He's experienced, he plays D and he's our best ballhandler and you need depth in the B1G.

However, it certainly won't be a crushing blow if we lose him.

He is going to need that degree after his career overseas and I truly hope he comes back.

Geo is a 2 guard. I wouldn’t even call him a combo guard. Everyone tries to force him to run the point.

Freeman gets blocked approximately 75% of the time. He misses another 20%. His shots should be limited to very open looks.

It's really a shame because he is a very good rebounder....especially for his size. The trouble is, he gives a lot of those rebounds back by throwing weak shots up into defenders who are way bigger than he is.

It's truly amazing that this team lacks a single player who can consistently make open shots. Above all things this team needs that type of player...

And every other team we play has 2-3, even the bad teams we play.

If Mike hits that 3 in the corner...

Not true. Mathis and Kiss are going to be difference makers. Kiss is going to open up a lot of the inside game because of his 3 pt shooting, Corey continues to be erratic and plays out of control as he did tonight. If he was smart he would pump fake and get the foul.
Kiss isnt a great 3 point shooter fyi. He shot something like 27% from 3 against poor competition last year
