Pretty amazing at the level of competition we have faced thus far

I would say it rivals most sec schedules

Why people continue to think the SEC is so great boggles my mind. It's the same every year, 1 or 2 great teams and then a bunch of average P5 teams.

I can go all day with how overrated the SEC is. Are they the best league, sure. But so good that their second place team deserves to be in the playoff ahead of any P5 champion like so many people say? Cmon. Yet noone even hinted about OSU in the playoff last year who was the team best equipped to beat Alabama.

I think Houston is the only thing stopping tow B1G teams this year. Although the OSU v Michigan happening so late hurts.

I just heard this morning that if Lousville beats Houston the ACC may get two teams.

I just don't believe that in a 4 team playoff you can justify any second place team barring a catastrophic season for multiple leagues. The big five are too close talent wise.

No way the ACC gets two teams.
Clemson still has FSU, Pitt, and USc
Lville has Houston
Plus one of them has UNC/Miami in ACC championship game.
Clemson has been shaky at best this season and even if Lville beats Houston can you take an ACC team that didn't play in it's championship game?

None of it matters when we lose to them.

Unless youre an SEC team, then theyre quality losses.

If the SEC, ACC and B1G champs are all getting in, do you take an unbeaten UH over let's say a 1 loss Washington or Texas A &M especially if A&M only loses to Bama? What about a 1 loss UM / tOSU? It may get interesting this year.

In that case you have to look at SOS. How many Power 5 schools did Houston beat vs Washington or Texas A&M for example.

In games where an SEC team played an out of conference Power 5 opponent they have 5 wins and 5 losses.
The Big Ten is 8-4. ACC: 7-6. Big XII: 3-6. PAC: 5-5 ND: 1-3.
