another March where the football forum is 90% OT and we are done in Men's BBall unless its general March Madness stuff or possible recruiting down the road.

I guess for a bit I'll see some of you over on the women's side and root them on.

This board has been fantastic this season. So glad to see it back to life. Just a general THANKS to all of you for your inputs and contributions. We don't always agree but I think the behavior on this forum is Gold Standard vs. what I see elsewhere.

Discussions about lineups and minutes are useless until the final roster is set....especially if a Grad Transfer is an option to replace Issa Thaim. He would have been a senior so it may make sense to replace him with a senior....to maintain class balance......And keep 3 spots for 2020.

Screw class balance. People didn't want the Martin twins here because they were worried about class balance. If Rutgers gets to the tournament with 12 seniors on the roster then so be it.

Pikiell cares about it. In the past, he has mentioned that what you like to see is a team with at least a few veterans leaders on the team each year....IMO, it's a good approach.

Rutgers is not Duke or Kentucky where they can lose 5 players in one year and then reload. Rutgers depends on players developed over a full 4 years.

Regarding the Martin Twins....they are Seniors now. So, the team this year would have 3 Seniors and better class balance.

All I can say is that I had more fun watching this team then I have had in several years. They played like they belonged, with intensity, energy, and toughness. Yes, there were many WTF moments but learning how to win in the BIG takes time. I believe Pike has a plan and it will only get better next year. How much better time will tell. Now, if we can only get football on track it would be even better. Go RU
