What are we supposed to do between the wrestling match and football game at Yankee Stadium

For those of you who haven't been out in public in the past decade or so bars, restaurants, lounges, clubs, et al, have discovered this great wonder that allows them to have events outdoors straight though winter:

outdoor space heaters!!! Yes, believe it or not, these things WORK - quite well - and I'm quite sure would be used on an overly cold day at The Stadium. I hope that helps (aside from the sarcasm, sorry, lol...).

Rain? A giant canopy over the tarp?

How can they lace a canopy over the mats and not
I heard that since the Yanks value our partnership so much they offered to build a temporary dome over the top of the stadium in case of rain. :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:
To be paid for of course by RU season ticket holders until the end of time.

I don't know. Probably would be large enough that those on the floor/lower level would be able to see and everyone else gets to watch on the video board. Total guess BUT the only thing logical I can come up with. Thoughts?

I was actually thinking it would have to be a clear material like the kind you see in hospitals when someone is in an oxygen tent. Other than that maybe they postpone. Cold will not be a problem but rain would make the mats to slippery to wrestle.

The same people incessantly bitching about the Yankees, Yankee Stadium, and prices at the concessions there, need to take trips to Citi Field, Citizens Bank Park, Angel Stadium, Dodger Stadium, and AT&T Field, before complaining anymore.
Dear lord, please don't tell me we're gonna be scheduling home games at those venues too!

What about a noon start? I am sure wrestling at 8 AM won't be the warmest.
A blackout game at 12 pm noon? You might be onto something here. We'll be the 1st to ever do it.

Anyone silly enough to attend the wrestling match would have to be watching it on the big screen anyway because you will not be able to make out what those 2 guys are doing on the mat unless you have one of the seats right behind home plate.

Maybe they can install hot tubs and boats so people can feel like they are at the shore between games.

The mat is by the left field fair pole
Are you sure? I know someone posted here or in another Yanx stadium thread that the mat would be behind home plate. I was relying on that, when I posted above.
Anyway, regardless of where mat is set up, only a small number with the closest seats will be able to make out what is happening with the naked eye. If you are not watching on the big screen, you will only be able to see which color is on top.

Plus, Rutgers puts the mat on the Maryland side.

Ok. Thanks for the picture. So those people in the front of sections 132 and 133 with the terrible view of the football field will have great view of the wrestling match. The rest of stadium will have poor view of wrestlers.
Once again, why do they need 90 minutes between the wrestling and football? Stretching and warmups are not done in the area depicted for the mat. All you need is a screen or net to prevent an errant football from reaching the wrestlers. The mat does not even need to be removed before football starts. It is not near the field or the sideline
