Rutgers has a higher percentage of students from cultures who don't value American Football. PSU is 70% while Rutgers is 50% white. Rutgers has a higher percentage of international students.

From what I could find, PSU international students make up 10% of their undergrad population, Rutgers says their international students make up 8% at all levels of education at the NB campus, so I'm not sure that's true.

"Like the other sets of maps, these were created using estimates of team support based on each team’s share of Facebook “likes” in a ZIP code. We then applied an algorithm to deal with statistical noise and fill in gaps where data was missing. Facebook “likes” are an imperfect measure, but as we’ve noted before, Facebook likes show broadly similar patterns to polls."

Facebook "likes" as the determining factor for establishing fan support? Yeah. That's credible. Why not just count the number of blue cars and the number of red cars in NYC and NJ to settle this dispute for once and for all?

I've lived in Hoboken for the past 2 and a half years and I can tell you the RU and PSU have the most grads by far than any other school with Rutgers having plenty more than PSU. The difference is PSU students on average shows their colors more which it makes it seem more even than it actually is. There are RU people everywhere here and when we go out my buddies always tell me the feel like everyone in Hoboken went to Rutgers.
