Any thoughts on when we may see the coaching staff start to assemble?

I think we get coordinators very soon. Would imagine he wants them in place for the official visits. My guy says the RU coaches who are being let go already know they are gone. Need people there for the weekend

Any hints at how many, if any, are being retained?

Who knows! Maryland just hired their 1st one.

He won't rush anything, you don't want to screw this up, but you also don't want to waste too much time either.

I highly doubt things don't start to shake out until AFTER bowl season. He's probably in the process of making moves already.

I would suspect most of his staff will be hired by Jan. 1st. Especially an OC and some of his staff. There is a need to still recruit if we don't have an offensive staff by this time this current recruiting class will be awful. I'm sure he knows who he wants to hire already for the top spots and some others.

Somebody has to be in charge this weekend probably Wilson.I think he stays for continuity and the performance of the running backs was the best unit on the team.

South Carolina just hired their new one , former DB Coach at Auburn. South Carolina former DCs are available.

GA Mangus OC for USCe might be available if Muschamp cleans house. Mangus led the SEC in 2014 in passing yards and second in TD with 33 pts per game.

I loved Coach Wilson's corny, but apparently heartfelt, emotion and love for the team while serving as interim head coach. I'd be happy to see him stay in some capacity.

And he is a disgustingly good recruiter.

I don't think so. I think Campanile and Paganos/Wilson have the best chance of staying because their areas are the ones that excelled.
D Line excelled? That was by far the weakest position group on the field. I would put the DB's ahead of them only because if the DLine created any disruption or pass rush that would have helped out the inexperience DB's.

How about you take into account the fact that Hamilton was out, JPO had to move over and Kemoko was injured all year?

Camp was very overrated by this board - he didn't recruit well enough and I am not sure his position coaching (TEs) was that fruitful.

VERY POSSIBLE....a LONGTIME IOWA ASSISTANT......

I did take that into account. I was just stating the group did not excel. They were the weakest group as a whole. Panagos is a well liked coach but his position group did not perform well.

As great as he is in recruiting, Mangus doesn't strike me as someone looking to work in New Jersey. He's from the Deep South, and RU is about as far from that as it gets.

Lol sorry guys, I realized when I was typing it might be confusing, but didn't change it...in a nutshell...I can't imagine he's waiting to fire and hire until AFTER bowl games, as one poster speculated.
