Any hints at how many, if any, are being retained?I think we get coordinators very soon. Would imagine he wants them in place for the official visits. My guy says the RU coaches who are being let go already know they are gone. Need people there for the weekend
I would guess anywhere from 1-2 plus EJ. I don't see any offensive guys sticking with the scheme change. Defensively I'm completely unsure and same with the ST coordinator. All speculation of courseAny hints at how many, if any, are being retained?
Dang that is a confusing sentence! Are you saying he will have folks in place before bowl games?I highly doubt things don't start to shake out until AFTER bowl season. He's probably in the process of making moves already.
Somebody has to be in charge this weekend probably Wilson.I think he stays for continuity and the performance of the running backs was the best unit on the team.
All position coaches are gone.Any hints at how many, if any, are being retained?
South Carolina just hired their new one , former DB Coach at Auburn. South Carolina former DCs are available.
GA Mangus OC for USCe might be available if Muschamp cleans house. Mangus led the SEC in 2014 in passing yards and second in TD with 33 pts per game.
This confirmed? Ash's perogative to do that, but would be a touch surprised if no one is retained. All position coaches are gone.
All position coaches are gone.
D Line excelled? That was by far the weakest position group on the field. I would put the DB's ahead of them only because if the DLine created any disruption or pass rush that would have helped out the inexperience DB's.I don't think so. I think Campanile and Paganos/Wilson have the best chance of staying because their areas are the ones that excelled.
How about you take into account the fact that Hamilton was out, JPO had to move over and Kemoko was injured all year?D Line excelled? That was by far the weakest position group on the field. I would put the DB's ahead of them only because if the DLine created any disruption or pass rush that would have helped out the inexperience DB's.
Scott Shafer DC to UMd...Any thoughts on when we may see the coaching staff start to assemble?
VERY POSSIBLE....a LONGTIME IOWA ASSISTANT......I loved Coach Wilson's corny, but apparently heartfelt, emotion and love for the team while serving as interim head coach. I'd be happy to see him stay in some capacity.
I did take that into account. I was just stating the group did not excel. They were the weakest group as a whole. Panagos is a well liked coach but his position group did not perform well. How about you take into account the fact that Hamilton was out, JPO had to move over and Kemoko was injured all year?

Scott Shafer DC to UMd...
No....i'm using a new smart phone i'm unaccustomed to...sorry..I hear Scott Shafer is going to be the new DC at UMD.
Seriously what's up with this reply to completely unrelated topics? Am I missing a joke?
Is GA Mangus the guy disciplined by Spurrier for drinking on the job whilst recruiting...if the same he'd be toxic here. And he is a disgustingly good recruiter.
Were not talking Norries Wilson here...spent many yrs recruiting S. Jersey/E.Pa for the Hawkeyes.Wrong Wilson.
Thank you....get them mixed up..Nick....that is Darryl Wilson the RU DB coach
