And I don't mean by viewers or population or anything like that. I mean just far flung locations. I'm voting for Sun Belt or Mountain West. What do you think?

Acreage? Probably the Sun Belt. They have teams in Texas, Idaho and New Mexico which are really big states.

It's almost 3,000 miles from Hawaii to Utah. Got to be the Mt. West.

Evidently we excel at cheating, we are overachievers in our endeavors.
Yes, SG, the SouthEastern Conference cheats at its footprint since it has added Missouri which is nowhere near the southeast. You can mostly make the same argument for College Station too. Cheaters!!! [roll]

Mountain West. Honolulu, Hawaii to Laramie, Wyoming is 3,326 miles. The two extremes of the Sun Belt (Georgia Southern and Idaho) is 2,098 miles (Statesboro, GA to Moscow, ID). Statesboro to Las Cruces, NM is 1,458.

Total travel in the Sun Belt might surpass the Mountain West because the MWC has only one extreme destination compared to two from the Sun Belt. The closest conference school to New Mexico State is Texas State (San Marcos, TX is 550 miles from Las Cruces, whereas Las Cruces to Moscow is 1,133 miles).
