FYI there are, literally, NFL scouts there JUST to see him and, odds are, they could be the reason he's struggling early. Or, just maybe, it could be the USF defense. Kid is the #5 passing QB in the nation, yardage-wise, and #3 in passing efficiency.
That's what I read about him and that's why I took Western Kentucky. Some guys step up in big situations and some guys wilt. If he wilts against USF in the Miami bowl, I would guess he's not an NFL QB.

Hasn't he thrown for 350+ yards today. I just started watching 15 -20 minutes ago but he looks pretty darn good to me.
I wish I had more confidence in these minor bowl game picks. WKU holds on and I'm 5-1 but only 32 points.
Safe to say he didn't "wilt" and, more importantly, he showed resiliency after a lousy start. This kid might make it when all is said-and-done.
Maybe he will. Based on the first half he missed 3 wide open WRs for easy TDs. He didn't look good. Good to see he came to play in the 2nd half. I took WKU because of him.

yeah Nuts....i'm pretty proud on my flat play..''in the day''....i've been pretty conservative lately...but i love hoisting a few a Xmas season....i quit drinking for 28 yrs but like a few this time of year...i was completely dry from 34 until 62 but we only live once and the Xmas season is special...besides no RU news or lack thereof is making me Nuts..lol..

Just curious, I'd like to know how someone bets 10 grand on a 49-1 horse?? Did I read that correctly or did you win 10,000 total on a 49-1 shot(betting 200?) I would have to guess the latter and I just misinterpreted what you wrote.
Did you have inside info on the horse?(even to bet 200 or did you have a few exactas involved?)

YES...i was in Albany when a railroad friend who didn't bet horses was in OTB....I WAS CURIOUS....HE got a phone call from Elmont ''suggesting'' he put a few bucks on Chocolate Lip.....told me....i'm not stupid..lol...right place right time....that big triple...luck combined with instinct...no info...though i did run with connected folks..and i did cover with a few small exacta bets..even gave the teller 2 2 dollar winning tickets....i'll tell ya 1 thing....I didn't count on a ''Lawton sheet''..lol..
