The offense does not look the same in the 2nd half. The penetration, alley oops, layups, and open squared up threes seem to disappear. In the second half of a game?
This team. It's just comical to watch. In the second half of a game?
This sums up the b-ball program perfectly. Since we are in a state of change, we may as well change the b-ball coach, we all know how this story is going to end.Sorry folks but Eddie's not the answer here. Does Hobbs let this play out another two years or does he pull the plug after next year? This isn't about getting EJ's kind of kids in here. It's not just talent. It's BB IQ and how many times have we've seen the same kids make the same mistakes over and over and over again without ever learning how to correct it. Either EJ is incapable of getting into that kind of minutia or the kids just tune him out and play their own brand of playground BB that fails so miserably on this level.
Agreed. I fear we're just going to go through the motions with EJ and be in this very same situation next year. Someone started a thread about Amaker. I have to say that he has matured and is doing great things at Harvard. I would take him or Hurley over Jordan in a heartbeat. This sums up the b-ball program perfectly. I think Hobbs and Amaker are buddies, if so, let's make it happen!Agreed. I fear we're just going to go through the motions with EJ and be in this very same situation next year. The parallels between the two programs are amazing, aren't they? Long stretches without scoring, 2nd half collapses...should have answered the same school that goes like 5 games without a TD pass from its starting QB...
Its the Rutgers Phenomenon and ought to be the studied by University Grant. We need the Women's Soccer team to break the curse. The parallels between the two programs are amazing, aren't they? Long stretches without scoring, 2nd half collapses...
