Some fantastic wrestling today. Burroughs got his 7th world title. 1 Olympic gold and 6 world championships. He is now the best ever American wrestler. Taylor looked dominate winning his title, Rutherford got the silver, and Zillmer 7th.

Dake, Cox, and Gilman go for gold tomorrow.

While some don’t like Reece Humphrey, he is an outstanding broadcaster and was great discussing strategy.

Ethan Ramos who at one time was a SKWC athlete finished 5th for Puerto Rico.

Good luck to Seabass and Silva who compete early tomorrow morning. Plus Synder, Gross, and Yanni go tomorrow for the USA.

The fact that Ashnault is Yanni’s training partner and spent a year coaching Rivera makes today’s semi finals interesting in many ways. Rutgers will have a strong connection to medalist.

Rivera has been impressive. If that is Buxton's influence, I wish he had come a year or earlier. Yanni will be the ultimate test but too much to overcome.

the face of Cornell is leaving. I guess 5 million can buy an Olympic team. This move was suppose to happen early this year.

Being realistic can’t blame anyone who goes to Penn State or joins the NLWC. It is clear that they are the best. Now the NLWC will have 4 guys who have been world champs and Zain who is #2 in the world. The NLWC is responsible for the USA’s world team title. They have great training partners and coaches.

With 750k in the bank the SKWC should spend some of our money to sign a couple of world class resident athletes. It will help our recruiting and hopefully make us a consistent top ten team that wins an occasional team trophy.

No problem with all the best wanting to train together at the NLWC and I’m glad they are pumping out champions for the US but it needs to be separated from college athletics. It gives them way too much of a competitive advantage.

Each World team member gets to bring a work-out partner to Serbia-Yanni brought Ashnault as his training partner for Worlds. Seth Gross brought Joey Mckenna.
