Wow No Replay?

I think Roger Ayers was the official that blew the call . He should not work another BIG game again this season . Same with the other guy on the baseline on that side.
In the one closeup from behind the sideline ref, you can tell his focus is not on the sideline, as his head was facing up.

That's what I thought initially too, that he came from out of bounds and jumped in bounds for the shot, because as a defender you shouldn't have to defend him. It should have been a TO the moment he touched it.
Pick this up Carino! This is a nice story.
I took pics of the shooter and he’s 100% out but not sure how people are saying the passer was from across the court. Would need a sideline cam and an haven’t seen that anywhere

Why even have a replay system if these idiots don’t use it?? We sit through minutes and minutes of reviews over stupid shi* in other games and these morons don’t review the last play.
this. so dumb. we can review flagrant fouls and if someone stepped on three line during game but you can’t review if player stepped out of bounds on last play? Makes no sense

I read it as you can NOT be the first to touch it if you go out on your own volition. Only if it is by momentum. I would say this is clearly just him going out of bounds by himself
Obviously. It's black and white. And he was freaking almost on the bench!!!

here you go

Sadly the play is not reviewable apparently. Which is the dumbest thing I’ve ever heard but those are the rules. The refs blew it by not making the call in real time. Big Ten will always protect a home OSU
It's a buzzer shot making the entire play "reviewable" (I believe), hence, It should have been overturned. Period.

There is no question it was a violation. He's probably the furthest out of bounds player to ever come back and hit a shot in the history of basketball

Is it reviewable or not? People saying different things...

If it's not reviewable, that is insanity
Literally, he almost tripped over the head coach on the bench

they claim its not reviewable but if it was Coach K or Calipari or Izzo you dont think its reviewed. Pike had to commend the respect and attention of the refs before they left, otherwise its over..move on

**** this.
Can some computer nerds from Rutgers just hack the results of this game somewhere and remove those three points and change it to a Rutgers win.
That has to be our best and most just recourse at this point.

Maybe a Wikipedia page titled.

“The Day The BIG Ten Helped Ohio State Cheat”

Nerds?

You there?

Tell me you’re listening…

Doesn't matter he has to establish himself; can't be the 1st person to touch the damn ball!!!!
Realized that after the fact. Didn’t know there was an entirely different rule if the player goes out of bounds on his own, which Holden clearly did

so blame our coach as usual--- do you ever get tired of blaming our coaches??? since when do refs only have to do their job if a coach gets respect or attention , that's bullshyt and you know it---they ****ed up and its Pike's fault ???

omfg stfu already

In the end this is a colossal miss by all 3 refs. one of them should have seen one of the violations (dribblers foot on the sideline or shooter not establishing on the court}. However as rules go the only way either is reviewable is if a whistle was blown first. They could then check to see if they have it right. Essentially the refs can’t go fishing for a missed call by reviewing a play unless a call is already made. This is stupid in a game deciding situation and has to change. Allow all aspects of a game deciding play to be reviewable … call it the Rutgers rule!

no I think you need to do that --you're the one that always spews your bs/blame game crap about coaches --talk about someone wearing rose colored glasses about their home team, you do the opposite --why ? to show you're so tough or cool?? try showing some empathy for RU for a change
