Wrestling News: 1,500 season tickets sold!!!

At $100 a pop, times 300. Suriano just earned his scholarship(s) and more even if he doesn't wrestle a match.
Well to be fair we added 4 more before the Suriano deal and during the Sam Cali anouncement . So it now stands at 294 when you count Rhuarc's two. But we did get 2 more for friends after the announcement so you can count those towards his scholarship.

Thinking about season tickets this year. Better to face the R or be behind the teams? Never been to a wrestling match but wanted to know what side is preferable. Also does anyone know how many levels 100 and 200 hold?

If you're looking at the R upright, you get a view of both benches, which is cool to see their expressions as the match goes back and forth. There's really not a bad seat at the RAC, especially the higher up you go. If you are lower, you may have the ref or cameramen obstructing you view.

I sit on the other side and we still see the benches as I believe they are at an angle and closer to our side. I never really thought about it before but I guess on the other side it might be slightly clearer because of the angle.

I don't know exactly but a rough educated guess is 2,500 in the 200 level and 1,500 in 100 level (just the sideline seats).
I'm estimating another 2,500 upstairs which would put the subtotal at 6,500, not including behind the baskets.
I'd be surprised if these educated guesses are off by more than 5% or so (that is, if total capacity is indeed 8,000) but welcome hearing from anyone with more exact knowledge.

I live in NC but wish I could get season tickets and come watch. I am very new to the sport, but I have recently found myself addicted to the action!

I hope we get the extra 500 season ticket holders!

I took a few minutes to do some quick counting through their seat map.

Exactly 1,500 seats in the 100-level (this does not count matside of course)
Exactly 2,528 seats in the 200-level section.

Now, for season tickets, you'll note that 99% of the 100 level is sold out, other than single seats. Also, a good chunk of the 200-level has been taken, specifically the middle sections (The middle sections are 196-182-196 respectively for seat capacity on each side).

Now one would think they are over 2,000 given this data, but we can't forget the seats that are reserved specifically for the away team fans, guests/recruits, and families of the team in the 100-level.

So, based on all this information I would anticipate that the average announced crowd on a bad day, come match time, will be in the upper 2,500s for the upcoming season.

Thanks. I'm wondering if they're counting tickets that haven't yet been renewed. Which I'm guessing they haven't. I love that if true because renewal deadline is end of this month I believe.
