Was out last night with a Bryant Booster, we watched the Bryant/Brown game at a housewarming before going out.
He’s very involved in their NIL program and was telling me figures and the convo was interesting.
Said their top 3 players (gross-bullock, pinzon and timberlake) this year make a combined $130,000. And he thought that was a lot of money and said its the most in their conference (American East) with Vermont a little behind them.
Said the boosters are mostly athletics alums from all sports but who are dumping their money into bball.
Said the goal is to get $250K/yr for their roster and thinks thatll make them the new Vermont of the conference.
Found it interest that for a price that doesnt seem that high, one well off booster can totally change the athletic department of a low major. I wonder what other low majors are doing well in the NIL game. Ive heard Furman but cant really confirm.
