RH went 1 for 50 his senior year.Ron Harper Jr for sure. He was a player that continued to get better and better. Perfect example of a diamond in the rough recruit and develop success story. Caleb too, although more defensively. Gio was a great player and made great contributions here, but I am not sure how much his offensive game ever grew. His first year he had some dagger level drives to the hoop and took over games late from deep. We never really saw that again. Regardless, the recruit and develop model is now obsolete.
Ha! PerfectMy thoughts on alcohol free beer can be summed up in that Wolf of Wall Street scene with Dicaprio
He took us from abysmal to mediocre and we are sliding backwards. People need to stop being so impressed by thatCause he didn’t gut the program. Where Rutgers is now as a program is light years ahead of where they were when took over. If the program is at that spot again..sure, that’s when I’ll say it’s gutted.
Don't be ridiculous. Of course he does. Ace is one dimensional, although much of this might be Pike's fault. He doesn't defend, doesn't rebound, hasn't shot well from the foul line, and might be averaging less than two assists per game. Quite honestly, he doesn't appear to have a high basketball IQ either. I heard a basketball commentator say that he saw Flagg score 6 points in a game prior to going to Duke and he was still the best player on the floor.Irrelevant stat line....Flagg is going to be 1st and in the long line of Top Picks who bust.....As long Ace and Dylan go in the Top 3 to 5, they're more than fine. Flagg doesn't have the upside of Ace or Dylan.
Likely two years in a row of almost complete roster turnover and 3 years of missing the tournament. No real reason for hope beyond blind faith going forward. What exactly do you consider gutting the program and how far away do you see us being from that?Who cares?? Pikiell is a coach that develops and doesnt need star recruits. His best seasons heave been with under the radar guys, that’s what he will need to get back to
It’s ridiculous you claimed he “gutted our program”.
I think that disappointing match you’re referring to was when we needed one win with Poz and Bulsak due up and both lost to lesser appointments. Was infuriating. Our annual WTF moments are when we got upset huge at some point or blow dual somehow… last one I can remember was when match came down to 97 and hwt and we lost both as big fav… and we had that one year we coulda beaten a down year Ohio state but blew it….
We will be a decided underdog against Ohio state.. any upset would be a holy shit! Moment.. we haven’t had one of those in so long…when was last time.. Deluca pinning #5 Hayes?? Need more of them..
These guys are already loaded and will be NBA rookies next year. Money is not as big with them. But I can't find any argument for Ace as a negative unless you can tell me the talent that would've entered the program in his place. And it would have to be someone pretty good players lol but I respect your opinion.I think you could make arguments about Ace IF it is the case that he took a lot of the available NIL money. But I don’t actually know if it’s true.
I realize that Rutgers did not have the NIL money to bring those guys in on our own and that they got outside money. I don’t see that that implies they didn’t ALSO get money from the pool that would otherwise have been used for transfers, in fact to me it seems that they would’ve had to since presumably the other bigger programs that we’re pursuing them would have kicked in additional money. Am I supposed to believe that Ace and Dylan turned down potentially mid six figures or more of additional money to come here? It’s not impossible but without evidence I’m not going to assume it.
*Any of you guys call me Francis, and I'll kill ya".Yeah, some people take the slightest attempt at a joke as a declaration of war.
"Lighten up, Francis" comes to mind.
I did it for the same reason I give up stuff at lent. Simply to make sure I can live without it.Yeah, never understand why people jump on the newest study like it's gospel. They'll mock and instantly abandon the thinking of the recent ...as if the latest study is the last definitive statement that will ever be made on the topic.
Not saying anyone was doing that in here, and good for people limiting or ditching alcohol, just an observation from things like diet trends, replacing alcohol with weed, vaping over smoking, and on and on.
Dry January sorta falls into that same box for me. If you're doing it to kick off a healthier lifestyle, excellent. If you're doing it to keep up with trends and just plan to go back to your previously scheduled drinking routine at 12 am on 2/1, it's a silly exercise.
Very interesting, thanks!Ask and ye shall receive, lol. The Southern Patagonian Ice Field, where they get ~2000" per year, ftw!

Everyone is talking about this new research. Anybody who thinks alcohol isn’t bad for them is a moron. But we still drink it. And in 15 years new research will say wine is good for you again.

I remember reading Mt. Baker's 1,140 in record years ago, which is also the world record afaik, thinking I'd never see anything remotely close. But two years ago when UT broke snowfall records all over, was looking like an outside chance for a bit. Topped out just over 900 inches at Alta.
Always wondered if there are mountains deep in the Himalayas, AK or somewhere that have gotten even more than the 1,140 but without anyone to record it.
