Anyone else notice Gavin?

maybe Wally Dixon
Waliyy was super athletic - the only issue was he just couldn't dribble, shoot or pass.....but he destroyed at Midnight Madness dunking!! I saw signs of life with Gavin last year, and I think Gavin is as much that he's a little fragile mentally/confidence as it is anything else. A shooter shoots - his size/weight doesn't matter all that much (see Steph Curry), but Gavin had issues with that shooting all year. Waliyy was definitely more overhyped, and the bigger bust than Gavin!

Gavin Griffiths - Freshman Season Projection

There are some remarkable takes here upon reflection:

"I go by the eye test...Gavin Griffiths and Noah Fernandes are better than Spencer and mulcahy"

"Chol is an entirely different guy, elite shooter and D is much better"

and more than 2/3 thought GG would average over 11.5 a game.

A lot of others but the eye test of GG and Fernandes being BETTER than Spencer and Mulcahey may be the best all timer!

Nope! Never mentioned you over there other than when you started your dopey rumors!

Keep up the good work on this board though. I’m sure all the RU faithful can’t wait to see what you post next!! Maybe you can give a recap of your region finals match so we can all live vicariously through you!
Actually, state finals match. You know..State Champ.Something you will never ever achieve in your lifetime. Apparently you are living vicariously through me, because you can't wait to rebuttle. Which is useless waste of time, especially from someone with I'm sure marginal to non existent wrestling career.By the way, not a dopey rumors, my man.Come next season when Rutgers has 3 possibly 4 Penn State top flight wrestlers on their roster, you won't be showing up here very often with much to say.

Post Mortem By Lion: RU at Nebraska

Did Maryland really make NCAA Tournament in 2020-21 with 16-13 record??
Yup. Their overall final record was 17-14. They went 1-1 in the NCAA ... so 16-13 after the Big Ten Tourney. They went 1-1 in the Big 10 Tourney, so actually 15-12 regular season.

That was a strange year, with COVID - the year of no fans in the arenas - and mostly abbreviated OOC schedules. Maryland played just 7 OOC games ... Maryland was 6-1 OOC, losing to Clemson.

FYI RU played just 4 OOC games. And RU was just 16-12 overall: 1-1 in the NCAA, so 15-11 after the Big 10 Tourney ... and 1-1 in the Big 10 tourney, so just 14-10 regular season: 10-10 in the Big 10, 4-0 OOC, including beating Syracuse (at home).

I seem to recall a year when an SEC team, Georgia, maybe, was 16-14 after the SEC tourney and got an at-large bid to the NCAA ... in 2001 ... a different era, for sure. Villanova was 16-14 in 1991 and got an invite - also a different world.

Sure. Before the rug pull.

Dude.. I know you know enough about crypto to know that he’s running a crypto scam.

First time around he had his hotel to take in foreign bribes.

Now he has his meme coin.
Just converted most of my alts to more BTC. I hope all/most folks understand what meme coins are about. Hope. :)

Getting ready to run back to your Penn State board with your flower printed panties, your mommy bought you for XMAS, and say " look what I said to Crackers guys...look what I said to Crackers"? You must be a complete zero in real life social scenes, to need all these messages boards members affirmation.

Wow, the game's in the bag for the Chiefs

That ruffing the passer was brutal. KC does get a lot of calls. In the NFC it’s the eagles getting all the calls. Been that way for years. There fans won’t admit it though.
You know what’s even more brutal and a sad reflection on society ? That someone thinks the word is ‘ruffing’. That’s only correct in a different context (different sport).

Wow, the game's in the bag for the Chiefs

I find that sports conspiracy theories are just convenient crutches for fans who simply hate certain teams.
I begrudgingly agree, but some of the calls they got were just eyerolling. Mahomes and the Chiefs/Swift are media darlings, refs are not immune to society's bias. They see it every day just like you or me. So maybe not an NFL thing, but give the pretty boy the benefit of the doubt, is IMO definitely prevalent.

THE OFFICIAL 2024-2025 NET RANKINGS THREAD

I think it's probably safe to assume at this point end of year the Princeton loss will likely be Quad 3, the Columbia win is staying Quad 4, and the neutral floor ND win very likely will be Quad 3.

Accepting that now would put us at at 3-6 quad 1 and 2 combined with 2 quad 3 losses.

Bac - is there any historical equivalent for a team similar to where we are at (+80 net as well) at this point in the season that actually made the tourney (save winning a conference tourney)?
I mean on Jan 18, 2022 Rutgers had a NET of 131 and one Q1 win (Q2s against Michigan and @Maryland)
