I read in a recent article he said he is going to be champ this year.. I wonder if kids just say it to say it these days.. or if they actually mean it.. witout passion this sport is almost impossible.. damn..I’m not trying to be harsh at all…to your point it’s a brutal sport and if this kid isn’t passionate about it anymore he may just say I’ve had enough. Great career and time to move on…

Bobo, I thought Shelby has that distinction in spades. Shelby is upset. How does it feel to be the biggest D bag on the message board?

I didn’t expect him to come back, think the sport has worn on him, but I don’t think he’s packing it in for the year. He got destroyed by a better guy tonight, definitely broke him, but it doesn’t mean he’s quitting on the year.

Tonight basically sealed that he won’t be be back next year and may pack a lunch on this season.
If his heart isn’t in it anymore it’s better that way… it was just so promising after his freshman season.. Poz is a great guy I’ll always root for him, but yeah idk what happened to that fighting spirit…Bill said “Poz wasn’t sure if he’d come back another year (has another year left)”
