Game was over when KSU made it on 4th Down and 3 from their own 32. Play went for 35 yards.

We had the QB in containment on the run with Powell in pursuit..#6 dropped off his coverage leaving the KSU WR wide open for an easy pass and catch. We stop them there and game is ours if we score.

KSU defensive adjustments in 2nd half looked like a mix of run and pass blitz packages and got enough stops. Meanwhile our D was just too slow again. It seemed like KSU copied the ucla offensive game plan against us.

The "future has been bright" since 2006, and nothing essentially changes from year to year as we lurk from one mediocre season to another. And 7-6 in your fifth year as a coach is nothing to write home about. The truth is that Schiano is a .500 coach, and it is unlikely that this will change at any point in the future. He is who he is.

That's not possible to do if you want the program to have a good team. Our record is the same as last year's and our games are ugly to watch. It's not that we're losing, it's how we're losing and how we beat ourselves when we have potential to be a legitimate Big Ten threat.

A mental break from RU football is completely understandable in my book. So I'll write my own pages and turn them when I'm ready, thank you.

Even with a 17 point lead in the second half Rutgers fans should have known the woeful defense was going to allow touchdowns which would narrow the lead,In the end it was the offense that went in hibernation not even capable of making first downs .The play calling was too predictable. Kansas State changed their defense by stacking the line of scrimmage with 7 players to stop then run and pressure the quarterback.

Not only does he not deserve one. But Kirk sure as shit didn’t need to be renewed either. No one is hiring him away from us. And we would have no problem finding a person that can design plays to be 4 yards short of the sticks on 4th and 7.

Voted no. As I've said a hundred times on here, he is the best available coach for our situation that we can afford. So we should be glad we have him. But likewise, he has no better options. There is no better job that will hire him. So there's no reason to throw more money at him. We're stuck with each other (at the current compensation level).

And that's being fully aware that the team is going to get worse not better. There are teams that will throw tons of money at the NIL problem, and we will never, ever have that ability.
