Harper was outplayed by that little Harding dude, don’t let the NBA scouts see that tape. I am sure we’ll get a report that he was injured, or he was sick…..not buying it, he was out there and played so he does not get an excuse or a pass. He has been great this year, but this loss is largely on him. Why didn’t he drive more against these smaller and less athletic defenders?

What coaching is he really doing? The roster sucks. So fail on player evaluation. We don't run an offense. It's playground basketball. So fail on x's and o's. And the same issues come up every game with no team or player improvement. This team is as bad now as game 1. So failure on player development. I don't get the love.

Acuff and the rest of the bench made that lead

Iowa hadn’t won a game on the road.
Missing their best player.
Tons of injuries for them. Full roster for us.
Double digit lead at half.
The RAC is supposed to be untouchable place.
2 NBA players on our team.
And we F’n lose.

Not just lose. They took our lunch in our house and rolled over the last 3 min.

Defense was awful.
Rebounding was awful.
They dominated us inside.

Unimaginable we would be under .500
Unimaginable that the fan base would be so apathetic the last 2 months of what was supposed to be a once in a generation season.

Sad.

In the end, they could be worse.

Andy Katz was the sideline reporter on the telecast. He mentioned twice in the 2nd half that Pike was imploring the team during timeouts to play with energy, clapping and trying to energize them.

This team has no heart and no leadership.

And we still haven’t figured out how to defend Iowa’s motion offense after 9 years.

Unfortunately true - the fanbase really tries to believe despite knowing in the back of their minds what this team really is. Just a tough team to like.

If only Pike had one or two more legit Big Ten players.
