Minor to Moderate Snow Tues Night (2/11)/Weds Morning, especially south of 80 (all snow)

That's odd for 3+" of snow to all melt in one day - we got 2" yesterday and more than half of it is still here, on top of the 1" or so of dense frozen concrete from Saturday - or are you just talking about paved surfaces, which makes more sense (same here for that).
all 6 inches have disappeared as of this morning, roads, grass, etc

How is it that Pike has proven to be a good coach on his career? Taking a Rutgers team to the NCAA for first time in 30yrs?
It’s sad every year that we have discussions about his teams run ZERO offense, can’t manage and inbound play, and his substitutions are out of whack. This year is not an anomaly!!!

We just had better TEAM talent that overcame bad coaching to win games.
The comparison to Schiano is eerily similar. 2006 that guy had immense talent that overcame bad Gameday coaching that has persisted though out his career.

If we had a coach like Pitino we would be sitting at 18+ wins right now with the SAME roster
If we had Pitino as coach with the same roster, illnesses and injuries, we’d have 20 wins right now.
If he was our coach last night he would have needed to be physically restrained.

Pike Presser

Saw it firsthand last night sitting behind the bench. pike was trying to coach and motivate but people weren’t into it. I barely saw much from the coaches
All you have to do is look at the body language of the assistants on the bench. They have been lost all year. No urgency no emotion no coaching. Very disinterested. And that emotion has spread to the players.

Simple explanation. City life.
When you measure snow you go to your front or back yard. In a big city the "trained" spotters are measuring off the cars on the street, the grill and glass table out back because the rest of it will be plowed or salted. That's a lot different than what's really on the ground. I've argued this before that a true weather station should be placed by the park in front of Independence Hall and next to the Liberty Bell. Not to change the official weather station by the Airport but to enhance accuracy of city life.
There was definitely snow in Independence Park in the morning but melting was already taking place. Especially in the summer mornings. Where temps can be drastically different in that urban island vs the airport.
When I got home still plenty of snow. Also on the news saw snow very evident in the park by Art Museum as it's a giant open area away from Center City and the beginning of Fairmont Park behind it.

A) he’s not holding anyone hostage.
B) he has proven to be a very good coach over the course of his career.
C) Rutgers owes him a lot of money
D) this season was a failed experiment. Given the chance to do it again everyone would still take Dylan and Ace.
E) NIL funds were not there for this year. Schiano didn’t have much either. Pike needs to embrace NIL (Like Greg did the past few
months) to get the right roster.
F) 2023-24 Pike got screwed with 2 starters leaving in May and the Mag Injury.
G) 2015-2018 he improved every year. 2019-2023 he built tournament quality teams. The past two seasons were unfortunate and a step backwards with departures and injuries. Progress isn’t linear.

He’s not leaving, unless he wants to.

Dylan injured!!

Dylan got entirely outplayed tonight in an absolute must win game by a 5'10 midget. Points, steals, rebounds, assists, minutes played, and turnovers. Little PG won every single stat.

Dylan is soft. He just is. Honestly, I can't even blame him. He's been a thing his entire life, is 18 and a multi millionaire and about to sign a deal making $10MM a year. Most people would be with all of that so early.
It’s mostly on Pike. Iowa had a game plan for him. It took us 35 min to figured out we should spaces the floor and let DH get downhill to the basket. I never understood why we run horns to crowd the space.

Ace and Dylan Attitudes

I'm sorry, this is on Pike
Dylan and Ace have exceeded expectations up until now. I believe their efforts have been excellent up until now but they have to be beyond frustrated with the situation .
Each of these kids could be anywhere in the country and surrounded with players that could help their games
This is the biggest travesty in the history of Rutgers sports
Pike had two generational talents fall into his lap and he couldn't even put competent Big Ten level talent around them
He has two guys that get 40 a game combined
He didn't need that much
He needed to compliment them
Some size , some defense , a shooter athletically good enough to be on the floor
He got none of those things from the portal
Pike was given an opportunity to look for complimentary players only and he didn't do his job
This is not on these 18 yo kids

Hearing about his pregame and half time clowning around, and seeing his constant smiling and laughing when they are losing has got me sick of him. That doesn't even include his totally out of control play, his ball hogging, and his awful shooting and constant falling down. Cut down the number of kids that play and begin with him. I don't mean bring him off the bench. I mean stop playing him altogether. If he quits, he quits. Start taking control of the roster. The season is pretty much lost so let JMike have the opportunity to get better. Hell, he's already better than him at almost everything anyway. The kid played three really good games in a row so lets cut his minutes - brilliant. Give Derkack more minutes as a backup also. It will make him more ready for next year, he is a tough kid, and we'll probably have a better shot at getting his brother.
Agree about JWill. Don't agree about Derkack.

JMike

He certainly has improved on the offensive end. His defense seems to have gone in the other direction however. He has had a lot of trouble keeping his man in front of him, it seems anytime they want to get into the lane they can get him on their hip.
