Everyone is complaining about the offense, but ….

I didn’t say a poster was a Rutgers hater because they have a different opinion than me. It was they had an opinion that was contrary to the 99% of the people that do that for a living . Almost no one had his opinion and only a poster with a history of anti Pike posts on this board would come to that conclusion . Guess what you and him have a lot in common.

in 2022/2023 yes we certainly should have made the NCAA tourney .
You know I used to feel like you. I was pissed we didn’t make it. But then as I took my RU blinders off, looked at it objectively, we sucked down the stretch for more than a few games. Including and especially that loss in Minne. That team that played those last 8 games wasn’t a tournament team. Now I see the problems we have today and I see that Feb mar 2023 was really the beginning of our demise.

Sustain and retain …Pike’s and Rutgers basketball way forward to rebuilding the program

Go look at the stats of freshman centers around the country and come back and discuss. I am sure that will convince you.
Stats? What does that even mean. His points this year generally meaningless in terms of producing wins

His decision making awful along with his defense

He takes step back 3s

OT: Rick Pitino in the locker room at halftime

Got to believe Pitino probably squeezes another few wins out of our roster.
More than a few. Off top of my head he gets us Kennesaw, Princeton, Iowa, Penn State

Probably finds a way to get us Indiana on the road and the Michigan game too

So anywhere from 4-6 wins minimum you’re looking at 16-18 wins and solidly in the field rn

And those are just the close losses we had

How many games has Ace and Dylan been the best player on the court?

Appears some are confusing FUTURE potential with current who was the best player on the court during RU games this season. They are two distinct issues.

For ex, the Princeton game, Ace and Dylan had the most FUTURE potential on the court But they were not the best player(s) on the court that day.

In the Alabama game, Dylan was the best player, and arguably as good as anyone in cbb at that level.

It has been much surprise I think to the RU faithful that Ace and Dylan have not been the best player on the court in a number of games. The expectations of the number of wins were related to the belief that they would be the best player night in and out. This is not blaming the two, as arguably the expectations that freshman would be the best every game is unrealistic in the B10. But it does explain the team results when the season appears predicated on the best on court status.
