Our team just isn’t that good. The bold is a really bad exaggeration that needs to stop being spread.

Pikiell failed to assemble a good team this year and yes that was a massive failure and missed opportunity. I am not defending how he screwed the pooch here.

But in no way has this been close to the most embarrassing season in NCAA history considering:

- The flawed personnel and makeup of this team (either not good, or extremely young)
- Dylan and Ace are only 18 years old and are being drafted on potential (they are not currently top 5 players in college bball)
- Dylan was out, or a shell of himself, for 5-6 weeks

Lets not get carried away Skoolie.

Let's be clear: Rutgers fans are the ones who let this team down with their cheapness and refusal to support NIL. This program will never achieve anything without a change in that mentality. We had an amazing opportunity this year with two great players and we blew it by maintaining this view that NIL is should not be part of college athletics. For Rutgers to compete, the fans must contribute or increase their NIL contributions. This is the only way to get the needed players to make a tournament run in the future.

Do you know what are exact budget was? Do you know what our players cost? Do you know what other schools’ portal hauls cost exactly? Unless you do you cannot make that statement period.
