OT: Fun Game for History Buffs - NYT Flashback

Not a new game, but it's new to me! :)
Flashback is a history game where you need to chronologically order 8 events.
A new game comes out every week.

Sounds great! Haven’t played this one but have played Chronology many times, which is probably somewhat similar.

OT: President's Day

Very good mini series !!!!! May actually start to watch it again this week

That was a great series. Paul Giamatti was excellent in it. If I’m not mistaken, it was one of the first series where they digitized or created backgrounds such as when he visited France.

Sustain and retain …Pike’s and Rutgers basketball way forward to rebuilding the program

Portal works… if you’re good at filling your needs. Somewhere, someone gave him bad intel on some guys

I would say Portal works...if you have a ton of NIL.

I like the sustain and retain model myself as well. You have to differentiate yourself. We are obviously not going to outspend people so we need to recruit well and also recruit the right kind of player. They are out there. At RU anyway, if a HS kid is asking about NIL first, second and third...probably best to let him go unless you think he's gonna make a major impact year 1. Because that will probably be the only time you have him.

John Calipari 30 for 30 One and not done

I'm watching the story on John Calipari's coaching career. He explained how he had to become an aggressive coach to earn respect coming up the ranks. Took over a bad UMass team who won five games in 2 years and eventually rose past John Chaney and Temple. We need somebody like this to rise this program back. I don't know if there are guys like this anymore. I don't care anymore what these so-called shady coaches have done I just want to win.
Wenzel had RU ahead of UMass as a program in the early 90s by a good margin and let it slip away
