Our bench is very smart thenAnd he was on the bench.

Probably never will at this point, assuming Iowa and Rutgers have same head coachesAndy Katz was the sideline reporter on the telecast. He mentioned twice in the 2nd half that Pike was imploring the team during timeouts to play with energy, clapping and trying to energize them.
This team has no heart and no leadership.
And we still haven’t figured out how to defend Iowa’s motion offense after 9 years.
Spot on comments except for building a statue.I prefer a refund to all season ticket holders.Team is done. Same issues every game and zero improvement all year so far. Horrific roster construction and a non functional offense (yet again). Just a disaster of a season. Coming off a disaster of a season. And heading into a likely another disaster of a season. But let's go build a statue...
The lack of points was bad, but the lack of effort was worse from both of them. Low energy Dylan the whole game and Ace beaten on the defensive end a number of times by players who are nowhere near his talent level. It wasn’t about talent tonight, it was about effort and Iowa had way more than us on a night where our two best players looked like they played with minimal effort.24 combined points from Harper and Ace against defensively and athletically challenged Iowa just won't get it done
I don’t really disagree with the sentiment here. But I also find this dude’s posts really friggin annoying right after a loss.
And here come the Pike apologists shooting me down and fondly remembering the one win in the dance.
I don’t understand how you can’t not only inbound the ball but get a good look. Standing around three straight times is inexcusable and may have been the difference in this game. You can’t piss away opportunities. They’ve been doing that silly inbounds pass to the backcourt a lot this season. Fran clearly saw it on tape and figured out how to exploit it
This year? Every year except when Paul would lob to Cliff for a jam. They’ve been doing that silly inbounds pass to the backcourt a lot this season. Fran clearly saw it on tape and figured out how to exploit it
I can't believe these guys are 2 of the top 5 players in all of Europe and CollegeThey are soft and the team is soft. No wonder NBA ratings are dropping like a stone.
Fvcking clapping . His motivation. Maybe he needs some pom poms.Kevin Willard surrounded his 5-star freshman center with three OUTSTANDING two-way guards who can both score and defend. Maryland will be a 6 seed.
Pike surrounded his two 5-star freshmen with a bunch of unathletic players who all have severe flaws. Rutgers will be watching March Madness from home and won’t even make the other tournaments.
This season has been an utter abomination, and Pike won’t survive it ultimately.

Typically you provide detailed and accurate analysis. I completely don’t blame you for only posting this as the recap. Says it all. The effort (or lack of) was totally unacceptable, shocking that Dylan was also one of those who displayed no effort, have not seen that from him and it was a little shocking coming from him. The Iowa point guard had twice the intensity of Dylan.Absolutely embarrassing effort.
Stick a fork in this team.
Fvcking garbage.
Contrast that with a guy like Sanfordt...the college ball experience is everything for him and has to work hard on his stock to make the nbaIt's a harsh thing to say, and I didn't want to believe it, but after tonight, it's pretty obvious.
What is driving them? They are here because they have to be. They are millionaires already and about to sign for tens of million more. Winning this game means little to them. None of that is going to change whether they win lose or draw.
This is a short six month blip in their lives on the way to what will likely be long careers in pro basketball. Would have been great if it worked but it's not a problem that it didn't. Nothing changes.
Too much, too fast can kill peoples drive to excel.
He gives effort imo but he’s not a leaderJwill is a terrible senior leader can we acknowledge that
I’ve said since the first week - Ace and Dylan don’t care.
Just interested in their draft stock. Good riddance to them
