Steve Pikiell reveals why Rutgers star Ace Bailey sat most of 2nd half in loss to Maryland

Sounds more like norovirus to me.
You don't usually vomit from the flu, but you do with Noro and you have dramatic weight loss in a short period of time. Just my RN opinion
if the rest of Pike’s laughable ‘virulent flu strand’ nonsense explanation isn’t to be believed, we’re buying the 10+ lb weight loss tale too ?

And do you think they’d ok Harper traveling with that nasty virus instead?

Oh such terrible luck that the best two players and JWill have been sidelined.

I’m sure they weren’t feeling well to some degree. What bothers Shelby is that Pike’s attempts to explain are absurd.

Shelby also thinks Ace’s mid-game health issue suddenly worsened after having his jumper rejected in front of 50 scouts.

Yes but if my story doesn’t jive with yours that is still 50/50 and still is a net postive outreach from the NFL to a new audience.

Biggest bust?: Tyson Stay-Puff

Several things, top shot attempter because he had to carry that EMU team otherwise it was total trash without him. An experienced player knows how to alter their game based on their role. And he's shown in several games that he can put up points with four double digit games in January. He's barely played in the last two games which tells me he's likely suffering from whatever is running through the locker room. So you're bad fit narrative is failing already. The injury played a huge part in how he's been used and how much he could be used.

Thats not at all true of his junior year - he played with 2 very good (by MAC standards) players. That team should have had the talent to compete for a MAC title and instead they were Eddie Jordan level awful. I certainly didn’t watch all of his games at Eastern Michigan, but I highly doubt you did either (most probably weren’t even on TV).
His time at Eastern Michigan was defined by being a focal point of the offense. The bottom line is it would be a challenge for any player to go from that to a catch and shoot type sharp shooter role. That’s all I meant by fit. A lot of his strengths on offense require him to be the navigator which cancels out some of what Dylan offers. That’s all.

Sure - it’s possible he would be doing better without the injury but there’s no way of knowing that one way or the other. The point is - we knew off the bat he was a negative on D and he’s not known to be a good rebounding guard (like Jordan- for example) - and he was a one and done so there would be no future benefit potential from bringing him on for the year. Those things in combination suggest IMO that he was a poor fit overall.

It wasn’t. We must have watched different shows. I can promise you that stadium had more fun screaming ‘A Minor…..” at drake than anything to do with sweet Caroline
You didn’t watch the game and don’t go to stadiums.
Sweet Caroline at any RU venue filled to capacity would be more receptive.
I’m in no way advocating for Neil Diamond to perform so don’t go that route.

Zap you have the boards respect for sure but the Super Bowl halftime show is not for those who already watch it’s a bridge to new audiences. Just look at this board how many said they watch the game but not pregame or halftime regardless of who is playing? The demographic of this board is already an NFL audience but you know who ain’t yet? My 10-14 year old girls who came for halftime and joined my 17 year old and all sang to the Lamar halftime show. The 10-14 year old girls then proceeded to hang around and watch some of the third quarter.

No one can answer why Sweet Caroline in any filled to capacity stadium in the country is more receptive and fun for the attendees than anything Lamar sung…. You fail to admit the live crowd was silent and fell asleep
