Thank the ref

Can’t review but when the crowd was heckling him - he just stood pointing ILL ball, all through the timeout with a smile on his face. It was a bad look.
Happened right in front of me and I did the two arms out palms up “WTF” gesture to the ref. He looked right at me and grabbed his wrist indicating that Harper actually fouled him. The thing is he was right Harper did grab the guy’s arm (it was clear on the replay). While true, it was also true Harper didn’t come close to touching the ball.

Point here is if he wasn’t calling the foul the ball should have gone to RU. I think the smirk on his face was his way of saying “you know Harper fouled on that play, right?” Anyway we’ve had him before and he isn’t very good.

OT: Wintry Mix Thursday (2/6) after 1 am: some snow/sleet through 6-8 am, then a bit of freezing rain (esp NW of 95) then rain likely until ~12 pm

The good news is it will stay above freezing all day and overnight too
Am going to wait an hour or two before shoveling my sidewalk to allow the warmer temps and rain to soften things up a bit to make it easier to shovel (doubt that much melts by then) - right now it's very slippery and bound pretty tightly to my driveway/sidewalk. Will let the driveway just melt today/tonight, but the public sidewalk needs to be cleared up soon.

Message Board Genius Proposal

Get with the program @-RUFAN4LIFE- . We have $50M in state money this go around, for the Fieldhouse, and only need to raise $75M, and will bond the rest. This is priority #1 because football has significant revenue potential.
Since RU won't have a President or AD in place until later this year that means you're at least two years from shovels in the ground right now. So raise that total cost by another $25M since the original price tag is several years old already. Plus it's convenient that you ignore the JMA renovation (or possible new arena), lacrosse stadium, baseball/softball facility among other things. The $100M from the state isn't close to enough for everything RU needs to get done.

What makes a coach like Rick Pitino able to take a school, in just two years, high into the D1 rankings: opinions please?

Yeah they pretty abismal shooting the ball. They have tournament upset written all over them with a mid major that can chuck the ball up
This is a great point. Pitino's teams always will defend to the death. It's when he has shooters that his teams go to the next level.
