Improving in years to come

Clarification- it seems that changing the head coach is not part of this equation here (although you and I agree on this). So I'm assuming this is IF Pike "has" to stay because of contract crap, correct?

1. CONSISTENT Three point shooting would seem to be the most pressing one. Other than Cam Spencer and RHJ in his last year, we haven't really had dead on reliable three point shooting. Moreover, Pike has mostly failed (in his portal and freshman recruiting) to identify such shooters. He's HYPED people who are three point shooters - Antonio Chol, Oskar Palmquist come to mind. Yes, Geo could make 3's but he wasn't consistent. Same for Jacob Young.
2. Assistants. Every one of them need to go, except for Jay Young.
3. Anything dealing with portal and recruiting.

Really, these are all intertwined. Honestly, as you well know, all of these things need to be fixed. What we could really use is a new head coach that doesn't come from a low major school. I would take a top assistant at a major program is he has the proven ability to recruit, use the portal, raise money for NIL, etc.
Yes they are all intertwined, but we’re near the bottom again and I’m trying to ID the most glaring consensus needs to improve. Sadly the program has to be rebuilt again imo

OT: Nebraska v Oregon

Did he attack? I don’t remember his exact quote. I do know he stood up for Mag but not sure that’s a bad thing.

Yeah this is why I am not a fan. I just don’t think I would call it quitting.
Would agree you can’t characterize it as quitting, but he certainly went back on his world.

“I’m completely fine speaking about this because I’m never going to transfer,” he said. “I am never going to enter the portal. Even if things go wrong, knock on wood, I’m here. I’m staying. I’m not a guy that will enter the portal – ever.”

Ultimately it doesn’t really matter, not least because Griffiths isn’t an asset to any HM basketball team right now, but it does reflect poorly on his character.

"Are More New Jersey Colleges Doomed to Collapse?"

Trust me,I'm fully aware that Princeton's original name was that, which begs the question, why did they allow Trenton State to acquire that name? I mean money talks so maybe they gave Princeton a sizable donation to acquire the name.
Or Princeton didn’t care…because of the “New Jersey” part. As they certainly don’t need the money.

I’m sure Old Nassau only uses it, New Jersey, when then have to.

Kind of like how the Liberty Science Center who used to NOT want people to know they were in Jersey City.

Rutgers basketball: Is Jamichael Davis the point guard of the future?

He has had two really nice games, plus he was great against the press in the UCLA game. But beyond that, we have seen a lot of subpar play from him. It’s a positive sign his recent games, but not ready yet to say he is the RU starting point guard of the future. Let’s see how he finishes out the season in a larger sample size and if he can continue to maintain the improved level of play.
