GAME 21 NORTHWESTERN: Eat Hardy Rutgers

I know we're all disappointed in Acuff but I love his demeanor. Seems very mature and no bad body language after a miss or after being pulled. I wish we could see the real Acuff before he was injured.
Agree. I met him for a work thing and he’s a great guy and representative of RU. I really want to see him find his groove during the home stretch.

GAME 21 NORTHWESTERN: Eat Hardy Rutgers

I thought Collins at the half would adjust and change the strategy with Ace, but he didn't-big surprise.
I thought Acuff had his best game at RU and he moved and defended better than any other game.

RAPID REACTION - Northwestern

Most of us were worried about the JDavis and Ace breakaway- but it was a thing of beauty. They must have thought they were back in High School. Hopefully we see a lot more of these the rest of the season.
Agree with others, that the supporting cast seemed more confident without Dylan in the lineup. Not saying we don't miss him and we would have won easily with him. But it gave the chance to give more minutes to others. And many of them took advantage to show what they can do.
Not seeing Acuff playing at E. Michigan last year, I would believe how he played last night was more like what we expected we were getting. He played well and made very timely shots to respond to NW scores. But most of all he looked very confident with the ball in his hands.
I also agree with others that Pike did a better job without doing mass substitutions; with seating those who were not producing; giving extended time to those who were producing; and did great with his use of Ace- staying with him for many minutes when he was on a roll, pulling him with the 2 fouls and counselling him near the end of the 1st half and putting him back in for 90 seconds during which he hit another spectacular 3.
Congratulations to the team and staff on following the script to a road win.

OT: New ACC Deal To Reward Clemson and FSU?

You seem like a god dude but you consistently told e wet person this board they were gone. The only thing you changed was the date it would happen. You have been correct less than a broken clock. Like I said, seem like a good dude and I enjoyed reading your posts but you were told more than once your definitive statements were over the top
He is over the top on many things including what he claims to be.

Nike Preseason All Americans D1 poll is out

Three teams plus honorable mentions. Guess how many Rutgers players made the lists? NOT ONE.

Can't remember a season in recent memory where we got no attention. Call me crazy, but that may be a good thing. I think there are several guys on our roster who are going to turn some heads, and that's going to start on Saturday. Lets hope the critical cake eating critics will have a mouth full of crow by the end of the season.
