Thanks for your brilliance Mr. Wooden. Nothing in the stat line you cite suggests he’s a good offensive player. He’s not. He wasn’t last year and he won’t be this year. .Shot hunter is exactly what he is…but not a shot maker.

Right. Good defender, poor shooter, poor judgment…same as last year. He wasn’t going to leave bc he wants to play with Ace, but Simpson with all his warts was the better player. Wish both left, truth be told.
Expected to see much better play from Derkack but Martini and Sommerville exceeded my expectations so a net positive from those three.
Unfortunately Davis is still an untalented shot hunter and often out of control The team has enough depth and defenders to keep him on the bench if it were up to Shelby.

Thanks for posting. The main thing I disagree with is your comment on J Mike. I hate every single 3 he attempts because I know he’s a sub 30% three-point shooter this year.
He would be so much better if he realized he’s not the 1st or 2nd or 3rd scoring option on the floor!
