Ageeed but with the supporting cast Pike assembled, there is no chance of even competing without DH.I get it, but we weren't exactly blowing out bad teams when he was healthy
That’s not college basketball anymore. You need to be able to construct a year-to-year roster and coach it. If he can’t do that…he should be fired. If you read my post above - I give my opinion.
Pike has had the most success with under recruited, blue collar guys. When that philosophy stops working for him - that’s when I’d consider it a coaching issue.
He certainly constructed this roster with transfers - and one and dones - and again, it’s not the roster that fits his style.
Get back to basics next year, and if that fails that’s when I’d say it’s a pikiell problem
He played well on D. I give him a pass on the shooting. His shot was getting better but not today.I’m sure he’s a great kid. Would make a great player at the ymca.
I get your point, but Rutgers……..Suffer is not in my vocabulary.
So true. This is the 2nd screw up by the staff with Dylan. Should not have been at Indiana or played against Wisconsin.
He should not have played today. That ankle injury will continue to linger.
Game wasn’t close the last 10 min. Pikes substitutions are awful. He runs ZERO offensive plays. It’s awful to watchwe lost by 7 to the 8th ranked team in the country basically without dylan this is not the game to blame roster construction or game day coaching
When is in your opinion?we lost by 7 to the 8th ranked team in the country basically without dylan this is not the game to blame roster construction or game day coaching
WTF with "suffers" in the headline
I know I’ve suffered watching it, I assume others share the sentiment. The whole season is a suffer.
He’s getting paid $3.5 million dollars to coach a team with two lottery picks. This team is badly constructed and badly coached. We suck in all phases of the game.
When in your opinion does this become Pikes fault.
The whole season is a suffer.WTF with "suffers" in the headline?
Some can, he can’t.You can’t “gut out” losing 10 pounds or spraining an ankle.
Agree that he was less than 50% today.I watched him and I don't think this is true. He just stood around most of his time on the court. But maybe he was just 50% today, in that case he shouldn't have even been on the court as he was useless.
He’s getting paid $3.5 million dollars to coach a team with two lottery picks. This team is badly constructed and badly coached. We suck in all phases of the game. You think it’s that easy?
If Dercack averages 21 minutes on your P4 team your team is probably not very good.....case in point!he averages 21 minutes per game thats rotational minutes for a player who is a rotational piece on most average to above average teams
