Here’s the difference Pike gave you hope and then returned you to Jordan levels while souring big time recruits on the school. Pike also destroyed corporate NIL relationships leaving a hole in his wake. I remember EJ and Pike is doing way more harm than goodYou don’t remember Eddie Jordan lol. Impossible to be worse. Like zero chance.
That's what she saidall 6 inches have disappeared .
all 6 inches have disappeared as of this morning, roads, grass, etcThat's odd for 3+" of snow to all melt in one day - we got 2" yesterday and more than half of it is still here, on top of the 1" or so of dense frozen concrete from Saturday - or are you just talking about paved surfaces, which makes more sense (same here for that).
If we had Pitino as coach with the same roster, illnesses and injuries, we’d have 20 wins right now.How is it that Pike has proven to be a good coach on his career? Taking a Rutgers team to the NCAA for first time in 30yrs?
It’s sad every year that we have discussions about his teams run ZERO offense, can’t manage and inbound play, and his substitutions are out of whack. This year is not an anomaly!!!
We just had better TEAM talent that overcame bad coaching to win games.
The comparison to Schiano is eerily similar. 2006 that guy had immense talent that overcame bad Gameday coaching that has persisted though out his career.
If we had a coach like Pitino we would be sitting at 18+ wins right now with the SAME roster
Come on man, stop lying on Al. He did not say that, he would have been hospitalized against his will 😃Last year you said Rutgers was a tight end away from being a national championship team. Now this year just a playoff team? What has you so pessimistic about the team?
All you have to do is look at the body language of the assistants on the bench. They have been lost all year. No urgency no emotion no coaching. Very disinterested. And that emotion has spread to the players.
Simple explanation. City life. That's odd for 3+" of snow to all melt in one day - we got 2" yesterday and more than half of it is still here, on top of the 1" or so of dense frozen concrete from Saturday - or are you just talking about paved surfaces, which makes more sense (same here for that).
How is it that Pike has proven to be a good coach on his career? Taking a Rutgers team to the NCAA for first time in 30yrs?A) he’s not holding anyone hostage.
B) he has proven to be a very good coach over the course of his career.
C) Rutgers owes him a lot of money
D) this season was a failed experiment. Given the chance to do it again everyone would still take Dylan and Ace.
E) NIL funds were not there for this year. Schiano didn’t have much either. Pike needs to embrace NIL (Like Greg did the past few
months) to get the right roster.
F) 2023-24 Pike got screwed with 2 starters leaving in May and the Mag Injury.
G) 2015-2018 he improved every year. 2019-2023 he built tournament quality teams. The past two seasons were unfortunate and a step backwards with departures and injuries. Progress isn’t linear.
He’s not leaving, unless he wants to.
It’s mostly on Pike. Iowa had a game plan for him. It took us 35 min to figured out we should spaces the floor and let DH get downhill to the basket. I never understood why we run horns to crowd the space.Dylan got entirely outplayed tonight in an absolute must win game by a 5'10 midget. Points, steals, rebounds, assists, minutes played, and turnovers. Little PG won every single stat.
Dylan is soft. He just is. Honestly, I can't even blame him. He's been a thing his entire life, is 18 and a multi millionaire and about to sign a deal making $10MM a year. Most people would be with all of that so early.
get a donor, a ten year contract, and a dump truck full of money.I don't know how the finances would work out, but my gut tells me that Danny Hurley would like to come home.
