You go after sponsors, not fans. If you can't get a sugar daddy, you need businesses to put money toward endorsements/etc. You know, actually finding entities to license the players' names, images, and likenesses, what NIL was intended to be.

Instead, it's like we're talking about passing around a basket among the faithful at church.

Odd yelling at the diehards who already pay all the points fees, donated and and supported RU through thick and thin and 30 years of ineptitude.

While perhaps season ticket holder contributions are a minor problem, the bigger problem is there are not enough big whales/sharks.

Imagine if we were able to keep Eugene, Jacob, Cam, Paul, Cliff, Mags, for extra years.

Hard to blame Pike if no real NiL.

Rutgers Riot Squad Third Annual Super Bowl Boxes Fundraiser

Hello everyone!

Our executive board has currently set up our Third Annual Super Bowl Box Fundraiser to raise money for future trips and events, including but not limited to:
  • Basketball at Maryland Day Trip 2/9 (On Super Bowl Sunday!)
  • Football Trips for the 2025 Season
  • Including Transportation, Tickets, and other Travel accommodations
  • Tailgates with food for students at Rutgers Spring Sports
In the past, this fundraiser has raised the majority of funds for:
This year, we are running a $10 pool and a $30 pool.

The payouts are as follows:
  • $50 Q1, $150 Half, $50 Q3, $250 Final for the $10 pool.
  • $150 Q1, $450 Half, $150 Q3, $750 Final for the $30 pool.
If you haven’t done a Super Bowl Box before, you will be randomly assigned a number for the Chiefs and a number for the Eagles based on your location in the grid. If the last digit of both team's scores at the conclusion of each quarter (or at the end of the game for the last payout if the game goes to OT) matches your corresponding box, you win that quarter's payout.

That’s speculation imo. He’s probably a top ten point guard in college basketball. That’s a monumental loss. Early in the season freshman are going to struggle. We went toe to toe with two very good teams and had two bad losses and were 1-1 in the big. Not a great resume but certainly not something that was insurmountable.

In my case I have judiciously put some people on ignore. I consider it like a town square before the internet. I wouldn’t take the time to stand around and listen to and debate the village idiot. Disagreements are fine but at a some point I’ve made the decision that some of these people are truly idiots who say nothing of interest ever and it’s not worth my time to even read their repetitive stupidity. To each his own of course.

Pike prior to that game has never implemented that strategy in his entire coaching career. Has not done it since either btw. Panicked

We were the number #1 3 point defense that year . Just defend straight up and we win that game and OSU never gets a shot to win.
