Can anyone explain where this defense has been

IMO, Coach addressed it. He had to decide if starters at 80% perform better than backups at 100%. Today, Mascoe, Sanders, and Salaam played much more than I've ever noticed. Only saw Igbinosun on one play. Rogers, not at all. Longerbeam, not as much as usual.
Young guns outplayed their older teammates. Rogers and igbinosun are not having good years. Longerbeam looks to be getting healthy and playing with much more confidence.

Igbinosun and Rogers played a lot and both had mistakes on critical plays which lead directly to scores. They both need to work on very basic and fundamental things. They lose eye discipline.

One game ball to give who gets it?

Relatively cold out there today, but that's only for us old soft people in the stands-not an excuse for the drops. Mike Teel said the Minnesota defense went from cover 2 shell in first half to man in second half, and that forced Athan to throw into tighter windows.
Yeah they went to man and cover 3 match in the second half. AK threw a few balls a little high, but we need to make those catches.

Biggest Block of the Year?

First time I've ever started a thread about a block (especially since I played WR/DB growing up, so never paid much attention to blocking lol), but Raymond's pick-up of a well disguised corner blitz on that 2nd TD driver for RU in the 2Q was immense, as the CB would've had a clear line at AK from the blind side and would've had a real chance at a strip sack/fumble. That block enabled AK to complete a very nice pass to Miller for a key 3rd down conversion. I know Kyle is known for his blocking and Raymond did a great job there.
