3.5mm households in NJ. ADD a RU NIL tax of $20 per household. $7mm, problem solved.
Great job by the team. Never easy coming back from a tough match like Friday's against PSU. Major congrats to the wrestlers and coaches!!! Go RU!Great energy and excitement Billy!
This times a million in a nutshell. We didn't build on the success. Instead we got Reiber, Palmquist, Jaden Jones, Jalen Miller, Austin Williams, Noah Fernandes . . . and so forth.Another thought, there were 17,000 plus at msg yesterday. Many love their Knights. But success also generates donations. Had they built on the 2019-2021 success I feel NIL wouldn’t really be a problem. Instead poor recruiting, poor player development and retention, all but ignoring offensive talent and schemes until this year and now we’ve completed the bell curve of basement-good-basement in about 4-5 year increments.
Obviously he hasn't done a good enough job convincing them to donate the big bucks he really needed this year. Or expanded his network, as Greg did. Otherwise we wouldn't be in this CF.Add thiof uninformed threads. Again and admittedly I only know a small sample of true money folks but I can promise you they all know Pike personally.
Bryce Harper called and suggested that the money might be better directed elsewhere.Phillies should sign Alonso
45 125 RBI
NLCS MVP
Yes it was me
Add this one to your long list of uninformed threads. Again and admittedly I only know a small sample of true money folks but I can promise you they all know Pike personally.Where is PIKE going out on a limb and meeting donors face to face (esp ones with money)? Schiano goes out and builds relationships. Pike hasn’t. It was absolutely criminal that with all the time he knew Harper and Ace were coming that he couldn’t get enough money for a competent surrounding cast.
Paywall.
Fans see the results and not the process. We assume what the process is by the results, but except for a few insiders, we are 100% ignorant of the process. They are coachable and they are getting better but it takes time. This is something the average fan doesn’t get.
Will doTell your friend to ask his own rhetorical questions.
Your question walks directly past the issue of his injury and how his productive years were cut short. So, for instance, if I were to remain quiet about that too and simply assume that you're talking about the 2014-18 David Wright, I get to easily say Rolen.Would you rather have Scott Rolen or David Wright on your team?
What big problem? Who says that they don't have an alternative plan? More than an alternative plan, I'm confident that they have a broad plan on how to build the system and the team, and that fans are just reactionary. Not having an alternative plan is a big problem !
The argument against your post is that the Mets do want Alonso back as it’s not solely the fans wanting him back.
As the cards are now - the Mets are a better team with Alonso than without him given the current roster and given the current free agent options.
Boras knows this and hence the current stalemate !
