FB Recruiting 2025 DT commit Braxton Kyle game breakdown

Braxton Kyle saw his recruitment reach new heights this off-season after committing to Rutgers, then camping and collecting an offer from in-state Georgia. Kyle fills out his uniform as a true defensive tackle at 6-foot-3 and 320 pounds, and plays big, too. Kyle pushes the pill and battles inside. He's bulky in the middle of the defensive line and came away with multiple sacks and pressures. The big man not only occupied gaps and ate up blockers, Kyle also snatched an interception right before the end of the first half. He also punctuated the game for Suwanee (Ga.) North Gwinnett with a strip-sack. Georgia is actively working to change Kyle's mind and the Longhorns extended an offer following his strong Week 1 debut.

OT: Camden Yards

Heading to the O’s game in a couple minutes, what are the must sees over at Camden yards?

Pickles pub, centerfield statues, & boog Powell‘s barbecue are all places I’ve been, and will go again

They used to be a bar in the warehouse in right field, I don’t remember the name, but I remember it was good, not sure if it is still there??

They also don’t do the tour anymore. Unfortunately, they took it away during Covid have not brought it back.

Any other “can’t misses” while I’m there?

Olympic Sports Rutgers WSOC ties Wake Forest

Rutgers women tied Wake Forest 1-1 today. Wake had the edge in shots and appeared to have more possession than Rutgers (Wake 61%; RU 39%). Should we be a bit concerned about Rutgers WSOC? Anyone else catch the game today?

Absolutely Pure SPECULATION - New AD Candidates?

RU should pursue a current #2 AD at a Big Ten blue blood (not just any Big Ten school), or maybe from the SEC (though not sure of the culture fit there) ... or the current AD at a strong sports and academic school from a dying conference, or a conference at risk of dying ... like Stanford (Bernard Muir has been at Stanford for 12 years ... started at Delaware and Georgetown - East Coast teams ... 5 years at various assistant AD duties at Notre Dame, at the NCAA running or helping run the NCAA Basketball Championship).

I have NO idea whether he is available, or has any interest, or if RU has the money, clout or connections or interest ... Stanford is very prestigious (off the charts academically, very strong in sports, especially Olympic sports) ... but stuck in the ACC, both as a secondary ACC team, and the ACC is hardly guaranteed to survive.

Just saying.
