Heading over for the first time this Saturday vs. the Sox.
Flight lands at John Wayne in Irvine at 10:20am on Saturday

Check into hotel, leave by 11:30
Assuming traffic will be brutal, 45 minute ride north turns into 2 hours +

Any recco's while there (food, drink, seats, cool things at stadium, etc.)?
Would prefer to sit in the shade

Tailgating situation - nonexistent as Californian's aren't into that?
Also assume traffic leaving will be a nightmare, making post-game drinking a necessity

Something that I found interesting was two former Ash recruits that transferred but are currently on NFL rosters. Travis Vokalek is on the Cardinals and Jamree Kromah is on the Bears. I don't know if either one of them would make the team but it looks like they made it this far. While those Ash teams weren't good by any means, they weren't nearly as bad as the product on the field. Previlon, Kemoko Turay, Bash, Maddox-Williams, Pop, O3, Melton, Blackshear, Jonah Jackson, Gus Edwards, Rakwon O'Neal and Tre Avery are all in the NFL. That's actually a lot when you compare it to other teams. Janarion Grant is still killing it in the CFL too. There's a lot of dudes in the NFL who passed through here. Even when we were bad.
