OT: Anyone been to the Jersey Shore yet

That's what I'm concerned about. So frustrating. 2020 sucks.

OT: Anyone been to the Jersey Shore yet

Or have plans. I go every year to Wildwood Crest. My concern is my elderly mother who always goes with us. I know I can leave her home and we wouldn't do anything until later in the season but this is tough. Are you guys skipping shore trips this year because of the virus? Anyway thanks the...

    Semi-OT: Wildwood/Rutgers

I'm going to the crest in late June. Been going to Wildwood for a long time. My father went to Rutgers and I went to Penn State. We lived in NJ and then in PA. I love the Jersey Shore and Rutgers and Penn State are both excellent schools. I for one am very glad Rutgers is in the BIG. We...

Downward Trend in College Football Attendance:

Yep. There's no momentum to games anymore. The defense gets a big stop. Punt. TV timeout. There's no flow to the games anymore. Just a damn shame. And then I have a two hour drive home. Makes for a very long, exhausting day.

Downward Trend in College Football Attendance:

Agreed. Games are almost four hours. I know it was a different time and style of game but I've been going to games since the 70s and they used to be 2 1/2 hrs. God I miss those days. The constant reviews, tv timeouts, and passing is brutal. I don't see it ever changing, however.

OT: Former tOSU Coach Zach Smith Airing It Out on Tom Herman

Yep. I've seen it over the course of my work life. Then one is surrounded either by political hacks or relatives who are incompetent and entitled. Scranton, PA made this kind of shit an art form.

No. Go back and forth between PA and NYC. Vacation at the Jersey Shore. Love it.

Yeah, I was at that game too. You are correct relative to the drum major flip and the kind of lucky charm associated with that flip and what it means to the outcome of the game. Hasn't really worked out the past two weeks.:smiley:

I believe that. He used to recruit my home area in Northeastern, PA and he was very dry. Good guy but not dynamic.

Any old timers remember Dick Anderson

Yes, that's correct. He was a good line coach for years but was well past his prime at the end.

No, we definitely talk about it. My dad and I are on the same page relative to cfb, and life in general as I guess most father and sons are. He was a coach as was I so we used to really dissect what's going on. He's up there now in age and he doesn't watch the games like he used to so that's...
