God, I hope not! There's a reason why I call it No Wrestling: I won't purchase it any longer. I've never ordered a No broadcast that worked properly.

Kratch , the writer for NJcom said most likely Flo is waiting for the Big10 to finalize all the scheduling. But he wasn't 100 percent positive. I usually don't have many problems anymore with their streaming. It's better than track and better than nothing, that's for sure. ESPN has the best technology, but I guess they want to make the deal.

FloWrestling will stream all the Big Ten duals that aren't picked up and broadcast on the BTN cable channel.

The change at Fox sounds pretty confusing but I think it will simplify things. I *think* what's happening is that BTN2go app is going away. instead of the cable content and streaming content all going to BTN2go (but needing separate logins and subscriptions), BTN cable content will go to the Fox Sports app and BTN+ streaming content will go to a new BTN+ app. That BTN+ content will be co-streamed with FloSports.

Fox selling all their regional sports cable networks to Sinclair (owner of Stadium) was the impetus for this change, but I think it was probably overdue to happen regardless.

ESPN has the most expensive streaming technology on the market (purchased BAMTech for ~3.75 Billion dollars), and have the most to spend on media rights. so they locked down the ACC, Big 12, MAC and the Ivy League, among others. which is why all those schools will be on ESPN+ this year (probably).

my issue with ESPN is not that they scoop up all these rights and refuse to do a deal with Flo (or anyone else) to co-stream them, but that they don't put any resources to promote wrestling and bring in new fans. if you know what you want and where to look for it, you get a great deal with lots of wrestling matches. hard to generate new fans and interest without people providing context and drawing new folks into the funnel (who might then become die hards).

apologies for the mini-rant, had a lot of coffee this morning. looking forward to the college season, it's going to be excellent imo!

Z. DelVecchio not on the roster...

#1 2020 @220 Braxton Amos committed to Wisconsin.

OK just saw this on news 7. If any of you remember the ref who made the wrestler cut his hair. Well he's been suspended for two years. Apparently the State's division on civil rights got involved and now the Attorney General has issued a law.

Any policy that bans, limit, or restricts hairstyles closely associate with black ancestry violates state law. Wonder what this means for wrestlers going forward and those guidelines. Could we see hippie's taking the mat?

I know Maloney the ref well and he was just following the rules. Typical BS call by civil rights getting involved.
"Maloney had a history of racist behavior and allegedly called a black referee the N-word during a 2016 social gathering at a Jersey Shore condo. NJ Advance Media also uncovered additional previously unreported incidents involving Maloney, including allegations he kicked a biracial youth wrestler at a tournament in 2014." NJ.com

Guy is trash.

He used his foot to push a kid off the mat....after he wandered out not paying attention while a match was going on. The oblivious kid or the wrestlers could have been hurt by this. Give me a break... that is not racial.

Either way, for all I know the guy is a huge racist behind the scenes, but that isn't the point. He enforced the rule correctly. You cannot decide after the fact that the rule is racist and punish a ref for enforcing it.

Are you breaking news here? When did Epperly commit? He is at 195-lbs in HS and this is his senior year, correct?
I guess no Boom because kid doesn’t appear to be on Twitter. His Instagram says he is committed to RU.

Was undefeated going into Districts last year, won his District but had a disappointing Region placing 4th. He bounced back and placed 7th at States.

Tyler Graff finished 5th and Patrick Downey finished 9th in the world. Great job by NJRTC athletes under the leadership of Head Coach Reece Humphrey. The NJRTC is the only US Regional Training Center that had two freestyle male wrestlers place in the World Championships and earn placement points for the USA. The USA finished 4th in the World.

Both Graff and Downey are paid by the SKWC and work out with our eligible athletes. Thank you to all supporters.
