Fair enough, though trust me there is no comparison. It's not just the speed but that it is combined with top notch skills. Let's both just watch & hopefully enjoy a terrific season.

agreed as I said above we are playing 3 up front, Ali in the middle with Tiernan on the ldeft and I am not sure who lined up on the right up front but that is a major change in philosophy when you change your alignment!!!
And you change your alignment when you have the players to execute it.
Eh...sciarroca (sp?) was clearly no Tiernan but you could not require your center fwd to play off of her speed and skills to create similar chances? That's just one example. There are others.
All I am saying is that saying that all of a sudden the approach has completely changed and it's only due tw better players, is in my opinion is oversimplification.
This team has a completely different style and approach to it.
Where we 100% violently agree is that we will both enjoy it as it unfolds :-)
Cirrocca (sp) had no speed. We just didn't have the horses. Best forwards I can remember playing together were Madison Tiernan & Steph Schultz who overlapped a bit in years played & neither were close to Riley Tiernan, Taliafferi & Ali. Nor were our mids as fast & talented as Kroeger & Broccius. Sometimes Kroegar & Frankie switch. In addition we have speed & skill at the other positions. Never seen us have this before. Apples & oranges. And yes, as a result our approach & strategy & formation have changed. Regardless, let's hopefully enjoy the ride.

You have to play to your strengths. We had better D and Midfield and lacked in the final 3rd. Now we have some additional finishers so he can change formations. I also noticed he was a lot more vocal in a very positive/teaching manner on Thursday. We have had talent before but never this deep.
Here's the total and unfortunate reality of where we are. First Rutgers athletic event attended since March 2020 and we were elated and ecstatic to be at the women's soccer game. Found out 2 days later we (vaccinated adults and several unvaccinated children under 12) were exposed to COVID positive cases near us and now we all have to take precautions. Some of the children have their own athletic events and try-outs in jeopardy. Cancelled attendance at wedding/family reunion. Get VACCINATED and WEAR A MASK. This is not too hard to do - it's NOT over. To ensure that the Rutgers football, volleyball, gymnastics, field hockey, and basketball seasons can go on as planned, please do your part.
That is really a shame for you folks. You are so right. Everyone needs to step up & do the right thing, if not for themselves, then for others.
Sorry to hear that and it stinks for the kids but why would you sit near people when the stands are wide open and put their activities at risk. I went to soccer games and sat with just my family.
If they were friends than you should be annoyed with them or yourself for trusting them.

Completely agree but regardless it IS a change in philosophy wgivjnis all I was pointing out. I
