Fernandes, Simpson, Griffiths, Palmquist, Chol--all are floaters around the three point line calling for the ball. Today STONEHILL extended, and they all pushed further out and called for the ball.

On D they are all practically no lower than the foul line. They actively look for others to get a rebound. Multiple times today Simpsona nd Fernandes ran to the wing when a shot went up looking for an outlet pass HOPING someone else would get the rebound. There is really only Cliff and its not to him he's not getting it. He doesnt consider opposiite side when a shot goes up, just jumps stright up. And many times when our floaters (especially the fun size guards) were doing there movement away from rebounding, STONEHILL scrapped an offensive rebound.

It has to be killing Pike to see such a soft team. My take is he needs to blow up the floating and have everyone responsible to rebound and LEARN to block out. Get back to that culture. Sure it was the personalities somewhat EO Cam PM CM GB etc that made it happen, but have to believe Pike preached it. It's painful to see the softness and B10 play could get Eddie Jordan level on some nights is the fear.

Yes. We need to focus on team rebounding. We aren't scoring pushing the ball up court anyway. The entire team should all crash the boards. Focus on rebounding first

True. Even if pushing was even half successful there would still be a need to focus on rebounding skills-not just jumping stright up.

Seems like a team of guys you would play with in the playgound who when a shot goes up they never look to rebound but float to the wing and yell "ooh ooh- ball!".

I thought the thread title was floaters as in floaters when somebody leaves a floater for a gift in the swimming pool like Caddy Shack Baby Ruth scene
