Since Mehringer was hired in December, he has landed a quarterback from Texas (Allen), Tennessee (Oden) and New Jersey (Lewis).

That's Impressive. 28 years old. 6 months on the job.

Drew needs to bring in more game managers at QB...the type of kids that show good leadership, are well liked by teammates, exude confidence, but don't necessarily have to throw the ball well or have even average arm strength or win on occasion against good football teams. Hmmmmm......

he has not got a first down yet. But coach Ash and him have done everything right since they both were hired.

STFU.

You are now in the lead as most annoying repetitive poster. I will not name names but one guy posted around 5,000 times about our scheduling issue a few years ago. Then more recently we had a guy who is a great fan let his hatred of our old coach allow him to look foolish by saying it in every post which was 7500 times. Now there is you, sad and pathetic saying the same thing over and over. This should have been a great thread but you killed it.

Why you have not been banned is beyond me.

Lol dude has 161 posts and is in the lead...that's the kinda leader we are talk in about!

Now let's put this thread back on track.

It will be even more impressive if any of them lead an offense that hangs 40 each on Ohio State, Michigan, Michigan State, and Penn State.

For this year I would be happy to remove the 'each' and to change that 'and' to an 'or'.

If the same level of competence that we have seen thus far in running the program translates onto the field the next few years and beyond could be very exciting. I really hope (and believe) they are as good in game coaches as they are off the field coaches.

It might take another year or two but this staff is doing everything right. I could not he happier..,...... Beats PSU

As first and only year as JMU Co-OC:
Total offense: 6,300 yards versus 4884 in previous year
Passing yards: 3,499 versus 2813 previous year
Completions: 286 versus 229 previous year
Passing touchdowns: 30 versus 23 previous year
Yards per Game: 484.6 yards versus 407 in previous year
Passing offense: 269.2 versus 234 in previous year
Rushing offense 215.15 versus 172.6 in previous year;

Let's hope he can do same or better magic, our offense output last year is lower than JMU in year prior to Drew arriving.

Rutgers last year:
Total offense: 4524
Passing yards: 2485
Completions: 203
Passing touchdowns: 19
Yards per Game: 377
Passing offense: 207
Rushing offense 169.9
Points per game: 27.1

He used a graduate transfer with 2 years of eligibility as his QB. Vad Lee did have more experience in college games playing a good amount at GT.
